  • Truth and Justice Shall Prevail
    Verse 1:
    Flee, they cry, the night is falling,
    Pointless now to take a stand.
    Foundations gone, all is appalling,
    Chaos sweeps across the land.
    And yet my heart will not be shaken,
    God is just, of this I’m sure;
    Though the wicked rise and threaten,
    Still His purpose will endure.
    Chorus:
    From His throne the Lord is reigning,
    Watching both the strong and frail;
    He is judge of all the nations,
    Truth and justice shall prevail.
    Verse 2:
    Trials come to test and strengthen,
    Faith’s refined like precious gold;
    Though the winds of doubt assail us,
    His promise and his truth will hold.
    Blest the one whose heart is steadfast,
    Bearing every storm they face;
    Crowned with life when trials are ended,
    Kept by God’s redeeming grace.
    Chorus:
    From His throne the Lord is reigning,
    Watching both the strong and frail;
    He is judge of all the nations,
    Truth and justice shall prevail.
    Verse 3:
    Sin and death once held dominion,
    But the cross has set us free;
    Christ has triumphed! Hell is vanquished!
    Now we stand in victory.
    Hope compels us, love sustains us,
    Faith will never turn aside;
    The work of Jesus is completed,
    And so we stand against the tide.
    Chorus
    From His throne the Lord is reigning,
    Watching both the strong and frail;
    He is judge of all the nations,
    Truth and justice shall prevail.
    Verse 4:
    God will test, but not forsake us,
    His fire refines, yet does not burn;
    He plunges us into the struggle
    Yet his triumph we discern.
    Stand, my soul, though trials gather,
    Wait upon His sure decree;
    In His time the proud will perish,
    And the righteous shall be free!
    Chorus:
    From His throne the Lord is reigning,
    Watching both the strong and frail;
    He is judge of all the nations,
    Truth and justice shall prevail.
