In 1993 I became a Christian and a year later a guy I met walked up to me and place a cassette of Barry and Batya's album Sh'ma Yisrael into my hand. He said G-d had told him to give it to me, and he walked away.
For a week I played nothing else than this album, the first time I cried and cried and cried.. I felt for the first time ever I was listening to G-d's people singing in G-d's language... it's almost 17 years ago and I still love these songs just the same.
    Bless you all.
    Shalom

The song is basically saying this; Give thanks to YHVH, (G-d) for He is good. It is in Hebrew. I am blessed every time I hear it.

What they are doing is 'mayim' to the left and then mayim to the right. Next part is the Cherkeziah with a single myim to the left, a coupe' to the left, a three point turn to the right and a coupe' to the right. The total steps together for that second part is called "Old Friend" and is used in a lot of different dances. The mayim is also used in a lot of dances. This is a slow dance because the song is slow. Many dances are usually faster.
