The new Summonorb (or whatever its called) + Squirrel + Matryoshka or Durable pegs is nuts! You can get a screen full of orbs. Molten Mantle has always been broken so I guess that just makes them even better.

Yeeeeah- molten mantle feels like you should only be able to get it from the first boss or something. Being able to pick it from boss two when you already have a real build basically gives you the 3rd act for free
It's crazy how broken the molten mantle still is. i wish it added the damage to your orb instead of just killing the boss without you even noticing. That way if you didn't have overwhammer or pierce then it wouldn't be op against every boss. It's literally an instant win against the dragon. Also his build would have worked if you discard the activatorb at level 3. all the new rings that add an effect to the next orb let you discard them at level 3 to gain the same effect.
for what its worth, I agree on the pierce vs overflow. overflow only is better if theres 3+ targets and they're all low enough to be finished off, which is alot less common than there being 2 targets at the same time
tom you made the right call with not taking the brocoli, i stand with you. because you have an extra crit plus the duplicate stationary things the brocoli would have quickly become useless after the first 3 throws
The active orb (or whatever its called) buff seems to not only be permanent, it also seems to affect both oroboros, or Im guessing just all orbs of the same type. Thats huge
Combining the activatorb with something that grants it persist so that you are guaranteed to fire it multiple times in a row would be positively broken.
I've watched enough roguelike and auto-battler channels descend into the same builds every episode to say I totally get and appreciate you not picking the muscircle relic. Thanks Tom.

Pierce is strictly better than overwhammer. Overwhammer only does excess damage to the next target, whereas pierce does full damage to two targets. Unless your damage is high enough to kill 3 enemies or more, then overwhammer is better.

The squirrel thing probably works fantastically with Gift That Keeps Giving... Duplication Potion works waaaay better with a Refreshorb, just fyi. Can almost flood the board with nothing but green and yellow. Also, Defresh Potion and Glorious SuffeRing synergise _stupidly_ well. :) Maybe try them in a custom game sometime?
Makes sense, what with how that 1 event on itself without any relics was enough to win runs at anything but the highest levels. Now at least you have to figure out how to give it a bit of extra damage before it becomes a I win button.

If you get a bunch of upgraded summoning balls in a row they stack the effect. I had like a dozen balls on screen at once.

Molten Mantle with the relic you turned down earlier ( creates gold on refresh ), would make every orb deadly.
A bunch of Activatorbs and the Dice relic could be very interesting..
Really appreciate that the +10 relic gives the bonus each time you generate an orb so the squirrel goes crazy

I didn't realize the game had an update and was tremendously confused at how bad it was.
I guess they traded increasing it's damage to instead get higher echo? Still feels sad
I think the reasoning is that since echo now works between reloads, old orboros would have been way too strong.
