    BTW, since Beetle Juice is over 642 light years away, it probably exploded a long time ago, in a smoulder system far, far away, and the blast from the past is coming to a planet near you...

      True, then again, 642 years isn't even a grain of sand on the beach of time in galactic terms. It takes a million years for a photon to reach the surface of our sun from the core, and it's a virtual baby by comparison. A hundred thousand years is just a second to the universe...

      Not probable at all, in fact unlikely, given the probabilty of that star lasting another twenty thousand years or more.
