Beautiful and pretty unique indeed for the PCT (up until that point, sadly I missed the lassen national park which might be similar? Not sure but at least its also volcanic.)
I loved those Bonsai looking pine trees, they were quite beautiful. And speaking of trees, I'm guessing the holes you saw were from a woodpecker. I do have a question though, how are you getting enough bandwidth to watch a TV show, or are you downloading episodes in advance?
Hi Tim! Thanks for your feedback and thanks so much for becoming a Patreon as well!! Yes they are all downloaded in advance, ive got so much left to watch since I barely have time to do so unless I am hikling the PCT I guess haha :D
@@ChrisonTour Your welcome Chris. I appreciate your sense of adventure, positive attitude, and the way you interact with your subscribers. That and and I have my own dreams of a PCT attempt in 2023, and I have this idea that a little kindness to a few adventurers such as yourself just might bring me some good karma for some future adventures of my own :-)
I think the views and the subs are well deserved. Probably with these PCT videos you will get more attention. Did you navigate only with your phone or a GPS or did you have maps also?
Nice video! How many pictures did you take during the pct? Do you edit them and even print them out? I took far to many pictures on my trips to Canada and Japan🙈
Hey there thanks! I took around 300 per day roughly :) Not printing thzem out since I have no place to zhang them up - that needs to wait until I settle down and am done traveling :)

@@ChrisonTour would definitely love to see that place one day! Love to film the landscape looks amazing. Dang.
@@NickandRachel Wonder the silhouettes look as good without the haze from the fires in the air
@@ChrisonTour good question
Beautiful pictures!

Thank you very much!
You’re right - those trees do look like big bonsai.
Are you sure those aren’t woodpecker holes?
Hey Linda! It looks like they are indeed woodpecker :)

@@timsnodgrass4637 hey Tim, karma always strikes back and in this case in a good way! I hope that on 2023 the fire situation will somehow improve

Thanks! Only used my phone, but it's really easy to navigate in general
