Nice to see an honest video of this, warts and all, thank you. I actually unsubbed from another YTer who did an obviously sponsored review of this. He was cutting away from things that were going wrong to hide them (like stairs clipping through doors on PMDG 737, which default PMDG ones do not do), and kept going on about how "realistic", "life like" and "amazing" the ai animations where, despite them looking to me like some cheap animatronics from a long closed 90's theme park. Of course his fans loved the video and the addon, so I didn't bother posting any feedback on his video, as I knew I'd just get jumped on. I certainly wont be buying this.
I deleted again…I bought in morning and tested it over 6 hours at 8 airports. I can say..it’s on a beta level, full buggy at me. Mostly the jetway could not connecting and the passenger walking in the air. Many times I just restart the sim, because after refuelling nothing happened anymore. I could write a lot of more things, but I go now frustrated to bed. Lost 40 € for nothing…Hope you guys have more fun with this add on. And yes…no VR possibility, come on GSX Team, so difficult to let the add on in the toolbar open in VR ? Another SLC candidate…good night ✌️
@@tothbalazs184 after 6 hours new try and error + 2 times reinstall GSX, I guess maybe not GSX is the problem. I read yesterday in the MSFS Forum, that a lot of people have now Problems and CTD where no CTD been before. Maybe a pre-simupdate-problem on msfs server. I never had problems before with this, now it catchend me too. Pity, but GSX not working at me, but I love this concept to make sim flight more immersive. we will hope and see and pray 🙏 what will happen after simupdate installation in some days 🙈🫣
@@_zeranom I don't have any CTD's after uninstall the GSX so it was the issue on my side. I love the concept too, but it is expensive to have a defective app. I hope that I will have chance to use it in the future without any issue. :)
Hopefully the community will start making custom files for various airplanes and airport's so that the vehicles arrive from the right areas, they don't bang into each other and the animations fit each aircraft better.
looks so good!! you have to test also the pico neo 3 link steve :) the clarity in the dp mode is so much better as the quest 2 and runs ultra smooth on high settings :)
I've got this as well, but its been put in hibernation for now on my system. To be honest this is still an Alpha release as far as I am concerned, not nearly ready for prime time yet. Suprised they released before SU10. They'll get there eventually, the P3D version (which I used extensively) took quite a while to mature. It does, as you say, add an new dimension to the immersion in the sim and will be a welcome addition. Personally I'll revisit a month post SU10.
Hey Mark, I really had hoped the issues I experienced would have been resolved in the beta. But unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. A real pity, as it has so much potential.
I'd like to see 'static' and 'AI' packs so that the static and AI planes at larger airport's have these boarding and deboarding procedures so you don't feel like only your aircraft is operational.
In MSFS, can you walk in/look around/experience the passenger areas of the planes or is it limited to the cockpits? I've seen a passenger view when not in VR, but can you experience flights from the perspective of passengers when in VR as well? If possible, it might contribute to a push for me to finally get this sim, so I'm hoping someone can answer me.
The truth was not really added here on the BAE as that there was a cargo loader on the BAE passenger variant. Please show the negatives as well. The massive containers are ripping the plane wall and coming out of the passenger cabin.
Hello everyone so my Biggest issue I’m having is I am not understanding when installing GSX if it’s supposed to automatically replace jetways or I have to install them using the program myself. I Have gone to FSDT universal installer under GSX world jetway configuration everything is under the enabled I have also clicked on the Exclude 3rparty just in case , but I am not getting any replacement jetways. Has anybody had this issue and if there is a solution I would love to know thank you all for your help
The right door was closed and the person pushing catering cart inside troughs closed door. Taxiway being teleported but not materialise is a engineer problem for scotty chief engineer Star Trek lol. Could be a sim limit because other addons like FSCrew (their VR menu is worthless) TFDI Design Pacx does not have a VR gui and LatinVFR Arex Global what I use fails sometimes too and has no specific VR option besides default ground service. If this GSX ground Services gets it wright I’m getting it. Maybe I have to wait till first bugfix gets released. Does it need a external tool to be running or only package in your community folder?
I forgot to mention you need a script running in the background. It's a shame this addon isn't more user friendly with a wider selection of aircraft, but it has huge potential.
@@VRFlightSimGuy the version that will appear in Sim marketplace will be light version and won't offer extra features because Xbox can't run any externe program I read. Still looks interesting because it will replace my freeware pushback and Latin VFR Global Arex... Peeps that have those need to remove them before running this GSX pro add-on... I'm an addons addicted. Haha
@@VRFlightSimGuy the default engine sound of ground vehicles are all the same what is what you complained about. Even small vehicles have huge truck diesel engine generator like sounds what is not correct.
cant buy GSX lol theyve said on there website that its paypal supported well at least for fsx but when purchasing it for fsx, dont see it,payment failed when using credit card on there website,hopefully itll be on paypal at simmarket
I have cargo and passenger sounds playing through my headset in vr. But the lady speaking in the menu plays through tv. So I can never hear what she is saying 😒
13 minute MSFS video without any flying in it??? This looks very good, but I bought the sim at release and still have less than 2 hours in an airliner, so it's probably not made with me in mind. But then again, I'm the odd guy 😂
Very dissatisfied with this add on. It doesn’t perform in VR as stated. Very buggy. Works sometimes but not others. Jetways don’t reach. You hear catering but cant see it. Fuelling is a cock up. Procedures are wrong. You board catering without crew then board pax after crew have just arrived. Fuel cannot be loaded while catering is being done. Waste of 40 bucks. This is still a beta
@@VRFlightSimGuy I just got GSX to work and it is actually really nice to have but it could improve, what I had to do was uninstall my rolling cache folder from msfs. That was the fix for me.
