Wasn't Connor her married name? She was married to Michelle's brother Paul who is also Connor. So friends and sister in law. That was when Carla broke down and she's looks like she's breaking down again with Stephen tampering with her drinks. It makes sense why Peter defends her because she surely paid for her mistakes with alya

@@aoifekennedy9004 yes she actually is Kate and aiden's half sister but she was also a connor by marrying Michelle's brother Paul. Think Michelle is distantly related to Kate and aiden and their dad Johnny. Always thought when they found out Carla was his daughter that she'd find she married her own cousin but they never mentioned it
