Just got mine & put it together. I find the memory locks help keep the pads from tilting if you dig into a pad too hard. Insert the lock into the square notch on the clamp.
I dig mine it is great for when you don't want to have the cops showing up at 2am when you feel the need to practice. And the locks pissed me off I searched forever looking fo what I was supposed to be doing with them instructions. Otherwise for a quiet practice rig it is pretty much perfect.
Okay, when I get mine set and try to clamp the bass pedal on it lifts the legs of the entire kit off of the floor and if course it's all wobbly then. Can you show or explain how to accomplish this... anyone? I've tried every way I can think of to adjust but no success. Help!? Thank you.
Hey do you know if I can screw a practice pad on any cymbal stand? I want to buy this but maybe upgrade the practice pads to Prologix' Practikit pads which those do screw on any cymbal stand but I don't know what the measurement is on the DW practice stands or hole of the pads.
@Hello Again Hello im an older drummer who doesnt wanna fuck up my hand but i need a practice kit that is designed like the smart kit because 1. im poor and 2. i live in a rented room the size of a prison cell . to be able to push the arms in and also fold up the base of the stand would be ideal for me. got any recommendations? price is a factor also. thanks.
This might seem kinda odd, but they sound thinner than a real feel, I think because the pads are lighter and suspended in air. So they don't really have the same snap as a real feel.

hey man, just got mine, but the metal at the bottom of the stand is too thin to attatch my yahama bass drum pedal. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I haven't had this thing setup in a long time, I can't remember if they fit on cymbal stands! It's all packed away or I'd check for ya, sorry...
I am going to buy one soon thank you!
Glad the video was useful! Thanks for watching 🤘🤘

Was just wondering how the sound of the pads compares to other practice pads, Evans real feel, or Vic Firths pad. Great video mate!

How much rebound/how responsive is the kick pad on this???
It's a pretty hard pad with metal behind it so it bounces back a lot, more than a real kick drum I'd say
