Hi! I downloaded the pattern and it says to make a foundation row of even number of stitches. But the video tutorial indicates that it should be an odd number of stitches. I am unsure which one to follow. Can you please clarify? Thank you! The pattern is beautiful and I wish to start it over the upcoming long holiday weekend. Thank you for your time 😊
@@johnbrzustowicz2568 I think, since you skip the chain immediately next to the hook on the first row, that is where the discrepancy is coming in. The pattern is based on a repeat of 2, but the additional chain is needed only on the first row. I did not create the pattern, but based on the tutorial, that is how I interpret it.
You made a mistake, because both the written pattern and the crochet chart are correct and indicate a foundation chain as shown in the video. Also because this is a premium pattern and your name does not appear among the premium users. 😊
