- A new remix of one of my all time favorites. Accompagnied by a tailor cut video; hope you like it!
Now that The Police, especially Sting actually, persist in their refusal (or rather fear, I guess) of making any new material, we - the loyal fans - should get that job done. So take a moment for this audio classic in my remixed version!
The video comes from various sources, all footage used is around on the internet. And if our protagonist(s) will ever read this: c’mon Sting, time is running out and what is there to lose? So get your old friends together, storm the heavens like in 7:21 and MAKE THAT DAMN SIXTH POLICE ALBUM!
Mr S Copeland owes me at least £50.00 for drumsticks broken trying to emulate his style........
Following this band since 1978....these extended remixes are epic.
Definitely material for a re release album if anyone has any marketing sense!

The best power trio of all time, and Stuart Copeland is the best rock/punk/ska/reggae drummer of all time. OF ALL TIME!

Some Latin rock bands of the 80's such as Sombrero Verde (Maná), Los Prisioneros or Soda Stereo were based on the sound of The Police.....

Now this is how a proper remix is done. Not these dance remixes that just add a foreign beat to ruin a great song. Take what is already there and enhance it. I wish The Police could hear your remixes and release them officially on vinyl.

Gotta ask, the drums at the beginning - where did you get them from? Alternately what effect have you used?
Better not ask a cook about the ingredients, just enjoy the dinner! I just always wonder: what can I use, what can I produce myself, or what can I adjust, tweak or change to give the song a (hopefully successful) refreshment. What I use a lot is Acid Music Studio.
