This video is the Ultimate Player’s guide to Octane in Apex Legends. Octane is arguably one of the most fun legends in all of Apex. Honestly in plat or higher octane is literaly a low b or a high c, thats being generous tbh because the stim is loud and damaging and the jump pad makes a free kill of anyone who uses it. Low elo is an a tier though because they have no idea how to use him

Your suggestion to stim during a fight helped me drop my first 3K with him🤩🤘 Most ppl tell you not to stim after the nerf but it genuinely gives you the upper hand in most 1v1s if timed correctly and you have solid aim already. Tysm!

I'm just gonna casually rewatch this 1000 times, I need these tips, I love octane, his characters, and his abilities. It's genuinely sad that he had to see his pops die, but if he does get new abilities, these will most likely help with it. Thanks for the help, can't wait to try these out and master them!

A quick tip for something I seen you doing and others in game - when using Mad Maggie's ULT you don't need to hit the speed boosts in a zigzag pattern. They're spaced out just right to be able to run in a straight line and get another boost before the previous one runs out. It's in the zigzag pattern so you can take one side and a teammate can take the other. You don't go faster for each one you hit, you maintain that speed boost as long as you hit another one before it runs out.... You'll just be able to cover more ground with that speed boost by running in a straight line.
Now if you're getting shot at, by all means change lanes to avoid getting hit but most of the time the goal is to get from point A to B as fast as possible so when/if your ball hits an enemy you're already on top of them and can secure that kill while they're still stunned.

i am new to first person shooters and apex and i am now lvl 23 after a few days of grinding and i just unlocked octane because he seemed fun and i like the movement in the game

Im used to play apex 2 years ago i even got the wraith knife when it was the only heirloom in the game, i started playing warzone and got good with the stim, i just started playing apex and i liked that octane also had a stim so i just started using him

I unlocked valkyrie for obvious reasons she had about 3 useful stuff in her kit the vtol jets are good for movement especially when dashing and the tactical is good you can hover and use your tactical if u have good aim and timing and her ultimate is kind of mid tier if for arenas its pretty mid but for br its good ngl but i wanted octane so i watched this vid and im grinding alot btw i love your content i always watched when i needed apex tips :)

I think there is always a time to stim before hitting the jump pad... Usually it deals with needing to get to the jump pad without being taken down

Bloodhound was my first skin and octane was my second at first I didn't know how to use octane but know I do cuz I'm better now and , he's a very good legend if you know how to use him correctly
Ik it’s not very well looked at but I recently switched to classic settings and my aim went from good to really good, I’m sure it’s a Mandela effect but still, Alc just feels too clunky for me and I might switch back and make some adjustments in the future.

Octanes two most important jobs. 1.take all loot even if you don’t need it. 2.rush every fight get knocked immediately and scream they are all 1 tap over and over again.

@@GrizzyyG Yessir, extra pad tip: you DON'T need to be facing the direction you wanna go. You can punch the pad and right before launching move backwards or left/right to launch in that direction 😬

You did a little mistake u can bhop heal with the stim even at flat surfaces so u can bhop around buildings for example and bhop

S tier? He's not the most powerful legend and his abilities can sometimes be used against him and his team. But with the right player he is one of the scariest legends to have to fight, because of his passive regen of health mid fight, his launch pad can potentially launch him in and out of the fight for convenient resets, and his stim makes him much hard to track and keep from pushing, also can make it almost impossible to chase him down

I tend to play solo a lot and find clutching with caustic lot easier
