    The amount of love I have for this woman is unmatched. She deserves all the awards, she should have been nominated as best director for Little Women. That movie was incredible

    Very happy to see that she overcame her fears, took the leap of faith and directed one of the biggest movies in budget for Hollywood. She carried the legacy of Mattel and Warner Bros to the brink. She has made the future generations to appreciate the beauty and essence of Barbie. Greta is an inspiration ❤

    For everyone in the comment section, just understand that everything in life is like this. They use special piano, music, and high income people to show you what it takes to do Absolutely anything in this world. You just have to do it. Get over yourself. Get over your trauma. Get out and get what’s yours

    Notice how she doesn't need to be toxic to people she works with in order to make great movies? Unlike some others

    She jumped on the “put a chick in it & made her lame” trend before it was popular. & then just rode that one trick pony, for every movie, all the way to Barbie movie success.

    • @tico5058
      @tico5058 ปีที่แล้ว +80

      You don't have to be revolutionary to be considered a good director. You don't have to make history. She's just a good director, plain and simple.

      @@purplespotshe seems very passionate with each project of hers and the team (actors, designers, etc...), for example she always dresses on set up so she could fit into the movie (for lady bird a bit indie and a prom dress, for barbie very a pink jumpsuit, etc...) and her bond with the actors on set is very unique because it feels like they are close friends.

    This woman reeks of being ingenuine and I really don't get how she's reckoned as an author by so many people already.
    Seriously, she didn't even prove herself properly just yet.

      Greta Gerwig’s movies are primarily for femcels and misandrists. Notice how in most of the films the leading girl doesn’t end up falling in love and living happily ever after with a man?
      Little Women, the main female lead was upfront with the publisher on not wanting her character to get married. In LadyBird the female lead doesn’t end up finding love with a man. Greta Gerwig also wrote the Snow White remake, ya know…the one that is getting tons of hate because apparently Snow White doesn’t want love or something. Actually, that’s because Greta Gerwig wrote it that way, yet nobody seems to be coming after her.
      Even in Barbie, Ken and Barbie don’t end up together but go they’re own separate ways.
      Don’t get me wrong, as a director she ain’t bad. But as a writer? Bro she’s atrocious and absolutely puts out work that divides men and women. U know tons of women broke up with their boyfriends after seeing Barbie, right? Look it up on NBC if u don’t believe me.
      Greta Gerwig seems absolutely hellbent on trying to teach women that they don’t need no man. And this narrative is perfect for misandrists and femcels. Because those two types of ppl legit hate men. And most women, hate men the same way white ppl used to hate black ppl in the slavery days.
      Frances Ha might be the only movie she has made where the man and woman come together in the end, somewhat. But yeah man, the fact that she hasn’t been cancelled goes to show how beautiful it’s become to hate men.
