I dunno what it is. I just have such a hard time agreeing with Morgan dollar grades above 64. They're just loose. Lustre can bump a coin but it's gotta be close. The first one is a 65 all day. Exceptional lustre though, so a premo 65 imo. The AU-55 is a premium coin for the grade. The blue one I can't tell, and the rest would be a pass, only because of the holder w/ CAC.
there was a time when ANACS wouldn't give a grade over 65 for Morgans. Those old soapbox holders have mostly been cherry picked but there are still a few undegraded gems out there if you buy from old collectors or estates.
You are correct ! Saw your previous blog re all NGC CAC results. Beautiful grouping, definitely no schlock. Looking forward to the PCGS grouping !
Top shelf as always.
Marvelous Morgans.Graded twice. What's the difference between a gold and greenbean money-wise? Anybody
I really like the 1903 Morgan!
Very flashy set, John. Thanks for sharing and let me know if you get any gold CAC silver commemoratives in your bunch.
Very pretty coins, commenting for the algorithm
Lovely Morgan Dollar 😍❤👌
Commander? That's quite a rank. When did you serve?
1883 is gorgeous

@FriendlyEagle7 Yeah a lot of the old anacs holders are more agreeable.
