As an American I decided to get into English football this year for the first time. My dad’s a Chelsea fan, my brother Man U, and my Aunt and Uncle are gunners. I thought that the Tottenham logo was cool, i liked the kits, and I heard they were never relegated so I assumed they’d be fighting for a title usually.
Man this seasons been wild and so entertaining, it’s almost funny how spurs manage to do what they do. It’s the most spurs thing ever to have your worst premier league season ever, but be close to winning your first trophy in 17 years. I’d imagine spurs fans who’ve been watching longer than me are probably fed up with the theatrics and just want levy out and a stable football club.
Being a giants fan in American football and observing the state of the league over here, there seems to be one absolute rule that also exists over the pond. If your club hasn’t had success for many years, and you’ve gone through players and coaches and you just can’t ever get it right. then you know that the one constant, the owner, is the problem.
I fear the spurs won’t ever win a premier league title with Levy at the helm. Any changes now that fall short of levy out are only bandaids and we won’t ever see what Tottenham can and should be.
But oh well, I have hope that spurs fans all over the world can rally together to get Levy out. Tottenham till I die! COYS! 💙🤍

As a City fan I would absolutely hate having Daniel Levy as an owner. There are few that care less about their club than him. I think Ange is a decent manager, but the club structure isn’t setup for his success.
The way Levy runs the club doesn't set anyone up for success. It doesn't matter if it's Poch, Mourinho, Conte, or Ange. Hell, it doesn't matter if it's Pep or Big Sam at the helm; anyone would struggle to work with Levy.
There's a reason so many players and coaches go on to win stuff after they leave Tottenham. We at one point had the likes of Modric and Bale in the team, and won nothing with them (Bale did win the League Cup tbf).
We're now seeing that again, this time with the likes of Kane and Son, two of our all-time leading goalscorers. Romero will be the next generational talent to leave Spurs to a better club and win loads with them.
Ange doesn't know how to defend. That's all well and good at Celtic wherein you're a country mile better than your domestic opposition but look how badly his side got exposed when he played in Europe. He needs his side to be playing hugely overmatched opponents for his style to 'work'.
@@RD-zx6pyThis! 👏🏻

As a spurs fan this video is kinda spot on except for when you say Ange is Stubborn and doesn't adapt. Like during the Everton game when we got Ben Davies back Ange tried a back 3 before deciding to revert to the back 2 at halftime. The media's notion that Ange is stubborn is quite frankly getting boring cause if you ask anyone that supports spurs the football we play now is very different to what we played near the beginning of his manegerial tenure. In fact for the Liverpool game, we took a more concentrated approach at absorbing liverpool's pressure while taking advantage of counter attacks when we could, which is definitely not how Ange typically plays. Also the fact its the 27th of January and we've only signed a keeper is also a big part of why we're so bad right now
so he adapted for one half before throwing it away. So yes, the criticism is fair, he didn't adapt. He only acted slightly pragmatic for half a game just so that he could use that as a counter incase someone said he didn't change up.
You're right, he's not stubborn and doesn't adapt. It's worse. He's stubborn, reluctant to adapt and when he actually does it doesn't work because he's got no ideas.
@@Guney1886What do you mean it wasn’t pragmatic we were awful with a back 3
He is stubborn. You have a huge problem defending set pieces under him and he more or less denies it despite it being as plain to see as the nose on your face.
@@RD-zx6py The set pieces specifically aren't a major issue right now but our defending as a whole is and always has been under him

I miss when relegation battles were like top 4 races, where everyone was so bad no one wanted 17th but at least multiple teams were involved. Past few seasons it’s just been 17th-19th up for debate and that’s over by April because the 3 newly promoted teams are so bad.
The gulf in quality financially each year just gets more insane
4 teams go down in Brazil, another 20-team league. And it's always entertaining, because there's always an unexpected team fighting against relegation and even going down (I should know, my Santos went down in 2023). One extra spot would make things more interesting in the Prem...

Football started long before 1992. You're welcome.
I’m a Spurs fan. I think there’s another discussion needed for the obsession on “projects”. A manager literally just has to win games for a successful “project”.
Arteta’s “project” clicked after 2 years. He was appointed in Dec 2019, and I’d say that Arsenal v City 1-2 loss in Jan 2022 is when he finally got the right system.
Ange’s defensive football revolves around players making last ditch tackles and Vicário making incredible saves. He signed some championship level players (incl. Brennan Johnson) and fans expected us to compete? Looking at Arsenal and Liverpool signings, they’re all high-level signings. Brennan Johnson & Archie Gray both costed more than:Trossard, Gakpo, MacAllister & Gravenberch.
I can blame the board for us not reaching the upper echelon of club football. My issue with the board is how Levy can approve these signings, being that he’s overseen some top level players during his tenure as club owner. Like Lucas Moura; he wasn’t great, but definitely was a top-half level player. We signed Oddbert for €29m. What’s he gonna do for Tottenham Hotspur?
The youth approach is the reason we’re screwed. Even the Poch team, that was considered a young team, we didn’t play any 17-19 year olds every game, even from the bench. Eriksen, Dembele, Son, Lamela, Walker, Rose and Wanyama were all mid-20s. I saw some fans supporting this transfer strategy, saying how Brighton sign your players etc. and I think there’s a fundamental lack of ambition in the club, from ownership to fans.
Ange is just some random guy from the Scottish league. If he were in a shortlist of available managers, we would never pick him. I don’t even think he’d be a notable name in a shortlist.
Also Pape Sarr is terrible. Should’ve upgraded on him this summer. He can’t pass the ball and has terrible decision making. He’s almost always at fault for goals we concede.
Once again, he’s some random player from Ligue 1 and we somehow expect to win against EPL teams? But let’s spend most of our budget on some teenagers and unproven players instead
Levy approves players like Johnson and Gray because they don't demand 200k per week
@@sheldoncooper991820 million is about 100k/week for 4 years. There are hundreds of better players at 20-30m, available for the full price packages that we paid for those two guys.

@@sheldoncooper991820 mil is 100k/week over 4 years. There are hundreds of players available at 20-30m, that would cost the same as the full package we paid for those two players.
That’s what Fulham, West Ham, Newcastle, Bournemouth, Forest, Villa & Brighton do.
@@LicoenBro, you know nothing about football if you think that's a valid opinion. Its an opinion yes, but valid/based in reality? No. Pape matar Sarr is a quality player, defensively sound, eats up turf beneath him, he's actually got an incisive pass on him, he's assisted a few with through balls since joining. Positionally he's really good, always where he needs to be to intercept, tackle or challenge, the guy is everywhere at once. The problem is the fact that hes exhausted and completely relied upon when hes not the finished article. Spurs owners haven't invested in adequate back up, so they're playing a mad amount of minutes, and with not much support alongside them. I think pape matar sarr will go far, incredibly so actually, he's go the raw ability to become a kante level player. My main issue is the fact that we're expecting DEVELOPING players to be a full package when they're literally in the process of becoming that. I blame levy for how you feel, because Pape Sarr should only be a bit-part addition to an already strong midfield unit, instead we've got bits and bobs, bissouma farting around, bentancur always injured, archie gray always played at center back, maddison always hot and cold or out of favour, and bergvall also still DEVELOPING. so yeah, if you dig through the numbers, Sarr is a quality player with tones of potential but once again...hes literally in the development phase where hes supposed to have experienced, veteran players to play alongside him to tutor him... instead we've got the out-of-form, selfish, always injured and incompetent leading the young
Bournemouth who don't have anything like the resources of Spurs have got a boat load of injuries too. Still they semm to be adapting and doing really well.
Bournemouth also aren't in Europe. There is plenty to criticize about Spurs this season, but if Bournemouth were in Europe they'd be in a similar predicament.
@@sethparker3381how many hamstring injuries?
As a Tottenham fan, watching Angeball has become torture. Passing it about forever as the opposition have 7 players in the box, just to lose the ball and have 3 attackers against our 2 centre backs. It’s very frustrating to watch. No wonder VDV gets a Hamstring injury every 1-3 months. Ange out, Levy out.
7:55 because there's no one else to play in that midfield. Literally. No. One. Else!

I grew up in Nashville. Every sports team we had was bad. When I adopted a favorite cousin's beloved Tottenham Hotspur as my team, I expected no different. In spite of it all, my lilywhites and my local supporters' club are still my favorite excuse to drink Guinness at 8AM.
Tottenham haven’t been that bad since last week.
I think most fans don't hate Ange, because he is a symptom of the problem, not the problem itself. We have had some of the best managers of the modern era at the helm over the last decade, all of them have achieved nothing. there's only been one constant at the club throughout that time.
9:22 Because it’s been through my family for generations and i’m loyal and love my club no matter what the results are
Couple of things for context …
1. Ange had a couple injuries at Celtic but no major injury crisis
2. He was seven points behind and had already lost the first old firm and was already knocked out of Europe …then Gerrard left rangers for Aston Villa mid season .. had Gerrard not left and his counter attacking style stayed out at rangers at least one more season .. Ange might’ve never ended up at Tottenham
Butterfly effects in football are weird
You have to remember that Celtic literally OWNS Scotland
@ took them 15 years of zero challenge to even catch up to rangers .. but sure mate whatever you say 😂😂😂🤡
Spurs made me cry in 1991. Now Forest are 3rd and Spurs are 15th... 🤣🤣🤣 Loving this.
The fact their loss to Ipswich was before a majority of those injuries speaks volumes
The biggest frustration is the owners, ENIC and Levy have been a constant and the same cycles repeat, ange and the players have been poor, yet it feels they could all be changed out to anyone in the world and have the same problems, the lack of investment in squad depth has made it so our injuries been so much worst, which has led to us overplaying people, the biggest fact is last year we played 47 games in total, currently we've played 42 this season, on paper we look good but every single player is tired and needs a break or is too young for an impact yet, this should of never happened as normally you had a solid back ups, but thats Levy and Co for you
I’m a Tottenham fan and my Liverpool supporting friends constantly make fun of me and the club 😔.

As a Spurs fan, every waking moment is pain
the game against Liverpool will come down to
- whether they can hold out (probably not at Anfield)
- how much liverpool try and if Arne throws everything at it
It’s difficult for non-spurs fans to grasp our situation, you really have to live it. Obviously our injury situation is unprecedented, however all the bad at the club stems from the ownership. Nothing will ever truly change until they’re gone. Levy won the lottery with Pochettino and threw him under the bus, just like he’s doing to Ange and just like he’s done to 20+ managers since he’s been here.
The only reason I'm a spurs fan is because my family have supported them since the 70s
Spurs are really and truly out of their golden era. From Bale and Modric to Son and Kane. Champions League final, runners up in the league. Not capitalizing on the Leicester's year to win a big trophy is something they will regret for decades. Even more than the UCL final.
Ange's Spurs career depends on these next 3 games and he knows it. Poor man must be sweating buckets.
Imagine Spurs win the efl cup, Europa League and get relegated? They'll have champions league nights midweek and then championship sides saying 'lads, it's Tottenham' on the weekends.
The reason why Sarr and Richarlison started is because we don't have anyone like literally no one we couldn't even name full bench
Levy the miser is the cancer of this team 😢😢😢😢😢😢
i almost feel bad for them but then i remember how they beat liverpool disgracefully last season.
Oh, just like the referee helping Liverpool cheat to win the 2019 champions league final?
the best part is that none of this matters because next season after they fire postecoglu they're going to bring another manager who has a decent first season and then gets spurs actually relegated after Levy brings a grand total of 0 first teamers in both transfer windows

Spurs don’t deserve Expressions
It’s not the fact they want to play there best players they genuinely don’t have anyone else to play
What's crazy is Spurs are one of the only sustainably growing clubs, they are way less dodgy than most of the old top 6, while Villa, Newcastle and Nottingham rely on the royals. The Stadium has been a success and they operate within their means, usually squeezing good value out of most of their transfers, in and out. Their key players are injured, but in terms of wonderkids I think this squad might be the best in the league, at least competing with Brighton.
Their cows will come home to roost, but it will take a few years and I doubt Ange will last.

I want Ange to get a 3rd season but I also want Ange to learn to be more pragmatic and tactical flexible. That quote about always winning in the 2nd year is equally his weakness and strength. A weakness because he doesn't seem to fully realized he managing a an elite level, what works in the 2nd season somewhere else is only one part of the package at elite level.
Being an Aussie fan and following him since day dot. He won’t, he had a similar predicament before quitting the Socceroos on 2017, he tried to tweak it to be more attacking, but our team didn’t have players good enough to & get exposed in the backs. We were a post away from not qualifying 2018 in the play off v Syria.
Firstly, where is this myth coming from that Tottenham would be a top side under Ange without the injuries. The wishy washy performances have been apparent since the first 10 games last year. Need I list the defeats? Secondly, you feel sorry for Spurs fans? There are many other London clubs consistently worse off. We didn’t buy success with Russian blood money like Chelsea of whom we had more silverware than beforehand. The Tottenham banter only exists because it’s a bandwagon most little football nerds with zero knowledge of the game like to hop on. Very dense perspectives. We have a stingy owner mixed with bad luck and poor recruitment. That’s all. I’d rather be clinging on to the hope we can challenge for a title or finally break into that title challenging mould for good, instead of hoping we might get promoted and survive like Burnley.
I like Ange, and honestly think we’d be decent if we had actual players. The fact that we’ve not signed ANY outfield players is insane.

There's only unemployed manager that can save Tottenham: Sean Dyche
ONE trophy in 24 years? But for us gifting them the league cup in 2008, it would be nil this century
Mate, this has been the most frustrating period as a Tottenham supporter.
You can see the guys running around with jerry cans and matches, burning the place down, but its like you are stuck behind bullet proof glass watching, and can't prevent them.
I think a good portion of us could explain exactly what the management problems are (not talking about ownership on this one, just the short term problem of football management that is directly putting us into the problem now.)
I think a lot of it is pretty obvious to people who watch a lot of football, and have been watching most of Tottenham games.
Ange refuses to manage for injuries and exhaustion, but then blames injuries and exhaustion for all his problems.
Injuries and exhaustion are something that matters, but when you watch the football, and notice that the teams that are being put out are pretty strong teams, week in week out, even with the injuries, we are fielding players like Son, Kulu, Maddison, Porro, players tgat a lot of clubs would love. I'm not saying we should still be competing for top 4 with the injuries, but we shouldn't have 13 losses and in a relegation battle.
But as I say, Ange refuses to manage for injuries and exhaustion anyway, so its pretty much his fault we are in this situation.
The club arent helping him in this window when it's obvious we need to bolster to get us out of a relegation battle, so its obvious the club has infact given up on Ange, they just obviously don't have anyone to come in.
The job is a poison chalice, im not really surprised.
You can go on and on about the tactics. There is some truly awful tactics going on, and he doesnt seem to know who and when to make substitutions to benefit us. Most of the time you are left scratching your head why he chose to change that person at that time.
And it's not like it's some genius move that you just don't understand. We end up losing because the dub made no impact.
It is truly diabolical.
GENTLEMEN! Let us all laugh at Tottenham 😂😂
Your friend is every spurs fan rn
Anyone that's played a heavy cardio sport like football at a high level knows playing a match every 3-4 days without a break is really unsustainable. I don't think the style of play or training can be to blame when bad luck struck and have pretty much removed the possibility of rotation leading to heavy fatigue on the available players. At the top level you can't not train either so there is no time to rest. Spurs have tried sending out weaker squads against weaker teams but all that's led to is having to sub the big dogs on to try and save a point.
I can see people constantly say "give the teenagers a go" who sit on the bench, but I believe it's heavily underestimated the gap between an experienced senior starting 11 player from even a bottom table club and a teen who is yet to get Premier League minutes.
Ange is in a tough spot right now where it's damned if you do, damned if you don't I feel. His job is riding on him still being involved in cup competitions I believe and he understandably has more trust in his proven premier league players over his reserves. We don't see the trainings, for all we know a half injured Pape Sarr is twice the player his reserve options are unfortunately.
It's a real shame if Ange doesn't survive this really unfortunate period, as I'd love to see Spurs back to playing the football they did before the cursed Chelsea game.
Why does he "have" to be out though? I am not a fan of Spurs but he's dealing with an ungodly injury crisis so what exactly is he supposed to do? Sacking him would be harsh and would be another example of Spurs not giving a manager time, I know they did it with Mourinho, Conte etc but they should learn from it not repeat it
The audacity of them thinking they belong in a breakaway super league is what made me stop giving a crap about Spurs.
Okay Ange is not perfect and you definitely covered good points as to bringing players back too soon. But it’s mental to me that the owner sits there and watches half the team drop dead after the game because they’re exhausted from playing 90 minutes every three days and not signing anyone. And today got the news our new Korean winger who we just got to join the club in January got loaned out. Son is aging. Kulu runs his wheels off every game. In terms of bringing Richarlison back we have no other striker options because Solanke is injured and the only other striker is Will Lankshear who is an academy player. For wingers we have… Son and Kulu because all of their backups are injured. For midfield we have Bergvall, Bentancur (who is also always injured), and that’s really it because everyone else is injured. For defense you have Archie Gray who is a midfielder. Dragusin and Porro. Then academy players. They literally can’t rotate anybody in and the owner is refusing to invest in any player. levy also said “Arsenal entering the market made it more challenging to sign players”. There are thousands of teams across the world trying to sign players. Why does one extra team have anything to do with it and I haven’t even seen Spurs and Arsenal be interested in the same players. Levy just doesn’t want to invest at all and Ange has no depth to rotate so he gets stick when he plays injured players or doesn’t rotate. But if he does play a young team then he gets stick for not taking competitions seriously.
7:51 who do you expect him to play? We have no back ups. He’s has to play players with the risk of them getting injured even more. The only alternative is to put youngsters on.
Also, we’re still in Europa which is huge. You seem to suggest it doesn’t matter.
The even more frustrating thing is, that Daniel Levy is absolutely caring for the club. Just in a business way, and not a competitive way. Tottenham are one of the few teams In the league with basically no financial struggles. But if you do nothing with the money, like Levy, then you won't have success.
Come on, SouthHampton unbeaten run
I feel bad for Archie Gray. He looks like he can be a great player for a long time but he’s being run ragged playing out of position, and for what? It’s absolutely criminal if Spurs don’t bring any bodies in.
As a Wolverhampton fan I don’t feel bad I’m the slightest
Spurs fans said they'd rather see their team finish 17th than see Arsenal win the league. Looks like their wish has been granted.

Being Spurs, Newcastle or Villa manager are the toughest manager jobs in English football. Large fanbases starved of suceess since the days of Moses.....when you think of the quality of managers and players Spurs have had....players who went on to play for Real and Bayern....not a solitary cup in nearly 25 years....insane.
We’re just forced to continuously use injured players. If Richy doesn’t start, we’re forced to start Moore(who’s an academy player and coming back from injury), or lankshear(who’s academy and not good enough yet). If we bench Sarr, we’re forced start biss(who’s academy wasn’t even fit enough to be subbed in) or olusesi(academy and not good enough). Yes we’re starting injured players, but there’s literally no other option. We couldn’t even fill out our bench against Leicester
We always give all of our all in 5 out of 50 games, the rest are just us being tired and I hate that we can’t just make these players run
And tbh ange is great but stubborn, I never see him make a fitness sub, half of these defenders don’t even get taken off for a rest
And what I hate is that porro can’t just play at rw, he looks so good in a attacking perspective
