Bruh u don't realize how much this helped me today... I work overnight so that's when I got to see these tips... As a offball player I now understand for this 2k what a open vs wide open shot looks like now.. 1 missed 1 3ball outta 5 games.. thnx bruh

I be trying to break down the game like this to my guard but he don’t listen 😂. . You a real one for showing what shots you missed as well! And how you get hot and what shots you should and should not take. This is all crucial when it comes to shooting. . And shooting in them pockets is just a pro level skill!! Salute you big dawg!

What are you talking about you need to pass the ball, this is basketball there is a reason there is 5 on the court.. the pg to go off and the other 4 to clap. Appreciate the video as always you speak the truth and appreciate the honesty. I can say I am having fun this year playing 2k24, I have only hit like 5 threes all season so far but averaging 20+ rebounds, 8 points, 8 assists and 2 blocks as a big. learning that dropstep, hook and fade. Know your strengths and elevate them while adding new tools to your bag, don't do what others do, do you!!

I would like to say I watched this whole video. An my shooting has been terrible but now that u explained it I realize I take to many challgend shots with out taker over so now I been taken only open shots or dribbling getting open an im green

Every year I count the seconds on how long I have to press the button. Fast jumpers meaning very fast to fast is 1 second, medium speed 2 seconds, slow 3 seconds. Hasn’t failed me yet. Only time I miss is if I make a mistake.

Another thing to remember is that the closer the defender is the more sped up your release will be 🔑🔑🔑
I'm only struggling because of the different angles of the camera when I'm practicing greens all day but once you get into other modes. It's harder to tell the shooting q because the angle of the camera is different .... prob would help if I didn't play on a 75 in TV 😅

Those first 2 early shots he missed early cuz he thought he had crabs and when it’s a crab the shot is faster so he released early thinking they was giving him the crab animation and he didn’t get it

Look on the bottom of your player, his indicators. It’ll be an red arrow when the defender is closing out on you. when you see that don’t shoot the ball….. create more space and you’d green every time.
It actually goes green at your feet when u supposed to release it it’s 3 windows you can shoot from basically

The shooting isn't hard, me finding a good jumper is, Me finding a good jumper. I need one that ain't a fast base and and has a good release. if it's fast I don't care but unless I find one that works for me! If I find one that will work for me idc if it's fast or not. If someone calls a jumper, I don't care what it is.

I do not follow any of that feedback crap second if you haven't realized you need to create hot zones plus go to Art of shooting every week to create lethal shooter spots and the biggest one of them all go with a decent jump shot which JT Thor base is chicken then I don't know what y'all doing. I started with that one jump shot and it's comfortable to me even though I miss time-to-time every other shots go in😂😊
