2% club here. Immediately thought of the baseball team Tampa Bay Rays and got purple first. Yellow was ironically the hardest for me because I didn't know that kitty can mean fund. Reverse rainbow without even trying.
A ray is a line that has one fixed endpoint and goes on forever in some direction. So like half of a line in some weird way. I think they might be drawn like vectors so I can see the confusion but vectors have two ordered fixed points.
I’ve literally never heard of any of the complete phrases for the Fund one. The others made sense for poker or some gambling but I had no clue what a kitty fund, pool fund, pot fund, or purse fund were.
They aren’t funds in the sense of a phrase, they’re just synonyms for fund. You would say a pool of money, or you might add money to the pot. The kitty is a slang term for the money that people put in for some kind of betting.
As a Canadian the only thing I could think of for Tampa Bay was lightning. I don’t think I know more than 2 or 3 baseball teams.

I immediately thought of Rays when I saw Tampa Bay, but couldn't connect Geometry to that group.

Reverse rainbow for me today! Fun one!
As a baseball fan, the first thing I think of when I see Tampa Bay is Rays. Helped me make quick work of this one.
Rays was all I could come up with and thought it was a real stretch and surprised I was right.
A light red herring? Shall we say a pink herring?
87% of people found purple last.
I suspect the majority of them (including me) did not understand the link...
I thought of Bucs or Buccaneers for Tampa Bay (football). That didn't work for anything else. I forget about that sport with the little round ball. 😉
Hard, but not artificially so.
Wildest purple yet?
