They made all the unit cards look all techy. The units should just be what they used to be, you instantly can tell what it is. Everything being blue shapes makes everything LESS readable
Love the aesthetic choices of the new units. Typhoon(?) with mustang items has some real potential to be a nutcase carry unit. Seems like a very powerful anti chaff unit. I wonder if this will impact the skill factory meta
That second game... I wanted to reach through the screen, smack your opponent, and tell him to get melting points lol. As for the new units: badger needs more tankiness and I think it should come with a fourth model, but could be a nice mini-vulcan & frontline. The tank I think needs firerate, wraith-like armor, and a slightly larger boom. The typhoon is really strong right now. Too tanky for so much firepower. I think it either needs to lose it's armor, or get the damage massively toned down.
I'd say the badgers are probably the most niche out of the three new units. That being said, I think those are some great designs that might just need a lil polish
More random chance rather than reward for skillfully building an effective lineup. I can see what they're going for but feels very counter for what you want in an almost purely competitive game. More options but less random please.
Remember both sides are offered the same cards (other than starting specialist) every time. It forces thinking on your feet, but I don't think it's all that much of a 'luck changes the game' thing.
I guess I gonna delete the game now. Was hard enough to get it somewhat working on steamdeck, but those updates don't focus on fixing performance or usability on smaller screens/controller input, which would widen they reach for now players more than adding more gacha. It was nice to get rewarded for a good plan and punished for mistakes that one can learn from. Now it is just feels like a grind without a reason why one should invest the time.
I might come back if the unit spam gets a little lower. At least if they are not free you have a little less money now. Edit: Well they are too cheap...
The unit drop would be much more intressting if eventually it beonly rare unit and like 4 choice out of like 6-8 rare unit eventually would be awesome!! altought the ''badger''(flame tank) isnt to crazy.. ofc it situaltion but the typhoon is like 2 if not 3 time better and the sabertooth and turn a match with the missle and nice hp and damage but yeah scorpion kill any new unit in 2 shot at max... scorpion still my og
Must say that I dislike some of the UI changes, it's a bit difficult to tell at a glance what things you've already clicked on are, whether or not you can afford something, and whether or not you've already clicked on something for a turn. The UI brings so much less attention to itself.
The perfect strategy game has been ruined by terrible design decisions. Was my favourite game for months and even got my brother into it, finally a game we could both get into heavily. With these stupid cards, and the ability to get two of the same spell... awful. I have tried it, actually managed to turn a game around with carry wasp! was having a great time, my build was coming together. guy got 2 level 3 fortresses in cards. Cool. I don't see the point of this game anymore.
This is a preview game of what will be in the next patch (on Thursday)! I review the patch: th-cam.com/video/6nWeDKt9nko/w-d-xo.html
It seems that the devs have finally found the essence of what the game should be, looking forward to this new update.

The new UI seems less readable than the old one. But maybe it's just first impressions
yes it's more messy. I got very distracted by the animations. But it's just what you are used to. This is definitely a big upgrade.
Big fan of twin-barreled tanks and quadruped mechs. Gotta check it out at release for sure.
I like rare units way more than just random normal ones
Fun patch. I still don't see an auto speed up button!!😅
Man, i really liked the old portraits of the specialists, the new ones are kinda funny lookin.
Yeah, they looked kinda AI generated to me. Hopefully that's not true it's against steam TOS as far as I'm aware.

It doesn't have range upgrade available so I think you need to use it as a frontline tanker also. So it's hard to use it exactly like a mustang!

the sneeze man haha :D made me jump haha^^
sorry :D i forgot to edit it out
The update looks sexy.
yes!
fun matches, with the extra spice of unknown chinese units xD

yep, they are trying to make the game for a larger audience instead of focusing on the very dedicated competitive player base they have now

Yep it needs a lot of work
Oh yes, even more ways to cheeese hehehehehe i love new units, its what makes this game great to play

it's a common feeling amongst the community, shared by many players
