Hot tip: don't buy this junk. If you want a good pocket multitool, get the real deal. Here are my top picks: Best keychain tool: Victorinox Rambler amzn.to/4adxKRy Best minimal pocket knife: Victorinox Bantam Alox amzn.to/4abr0DL Best lightweight full sized tool: Victorinox Compact amzn.to/3UUvdGz Even better opener tools (and cheaper): Victorinox Climber amzn.to/4brtaQG Lightweight pliers-based multitool: Leatherman Skeletool amzn.to/4dw1iwF Best heavy duty multitool: Leatherman Surge amzn.to/3UTUPo7
In 1969 I bought a Victorinox knife in Austria for about $13 equivalent. When I got home Dad said he saw the same knife in a magazine for $5. That $5 was a total piece of crap. Don’t be fooled. Stick with the real thing. It’s money well spent.
I purchased the Temu version of the Swisschamp for the low, low price of $6.98 as a joke for my brother, a serious Victorinox collector with more than 300 pieces. As soon as he opened the scissors, the spring snapped. He decided to keep the corkscrew driver, but it didn't fit in Victorinox models. The knife was good for a 10-minute laugh before it clanked in the trash can.
There is a chinese toolset they put many different scales on I found in shops for tourists all over Europe. Bad quality. The chinese government should forbid such products because they destroy the reputation of chinese industry whereas the Chinese can make really good multitools like the Roxon, Ruike, or Olight products.
i havethe last one in blue and only the scissors, knife, saw, phillps and corkscrew are used, scales will get removed in a big impact and mine's saw are good actually
The problem with doing these videos is your buying and supporting these rip off companies. They don’t care if you keep it or trash it as long as you make that purchase they got what they wantes
Yeah, fair. I bought these out of curiosity and as a warning but I’ll never again will buy from Temu, Wish, etc. they just make trash that hurts legit companies
Even this cheap garbage has its place. I abuse my workday carry knife so badly you can almost guarantee the blade will be blunt when I go to use it. So I keep a stone in my toolbox just for the knife. Even with the wrong steel used for the blade, it seems to not be wearing out any faster than the genuine Victorinox that it replaced did. Much cheaper to be constantly replacing the rubbish knife than constantly replacing a good Victorinox. I still carry the real thing away from work where the blade is not going to be abused though .
Good point. If you doing something that will definitely trash a knife, might be better to get something essentially disposable if you can find one with decent quality
This video was a mistake, that you would promote such trash reflects badly on your judgment. I recently subscribed to your channel because I was interested in what you were saying and the information you provided.
My intention was to show how bad these products are and to stick to high quality stuff manufactured in a better way.guessing you didn’t stick around to end end when I stated that but I get why

💯
Ali express is the only one I'll risk, temu's parent company has already gotten in trouble for info sharing. Thanks for doing this!
So much shady stuff for sale these days, all of it basically just trash. Good to know you’ve had better luck there, I’ll check it out

Ha, seems about right. These aren’t worth using and I wouldn’t inflict them on anyone else
the fish scaler is not supposed to be sharp
Thanks for confirming. I guess these junky tools knocked that one out of the park!

A victorinox is a investment for generations.
I have used my 1977 camper for innumerable purposes and still swear by it
Exactly, buy the good stuff for life
The pliers on the second one look like they were die cast and not finished in any way 😅

Loved that intro with the flute. These are pure garbage IMO 🤣😂 thanks for the entertainment.
Oh man, you have no idea. I dunno what I was thinking when I bought them but they were even worse than expected
It's mad that the magnifying glass on the knockoff looks better than the original on the swisschamp😅
Oh yeah? I don't have a OG Victorinox with one. It didn't seem very good. I do like the inline philips a lot though.
🤣😂🤣 that first knife had me cracking up!
You can have that beauty if you want
Do rip off Spyderco knives next
Ha, probably could. I have a few

I know these things are complete garbage but why did you use a flathead for a philips screw?
Ha, I got so frustrated with the dinky Philips not working, I tried the weird semi-rounded flat head. Neither did much
@@todd.parker That explains a lot. Thanks for the reply.
People simply should not buy this garbage.
