Real heroes don't wear capes or play sports. Real heroes stand for those who can't stand up for themselves. Real heroes are willing to give the ultimate sacrifice for you. Always Semper Fidelis warriors.
Their tragic deaths are a reminder - in perpetuity - that America’s freedom and opportunity is founded on the sacrifices of our finest young women and men.
I remembered my great uncle Peter who I never met. He died in the Bataan march. Peter is buried in Arlington. I also remembered a woman named Grace who lived across the street from me. Her only child a son died on the Arizona during the Pearl Harbor attack. I spoke about Grace one time while with some officers. Later afterwards she was given an expense free travel trip to the Arizona memorial before she passed away.
I did 3 years as a rifleman in the US Army infantry. In 2012 3 guys i knew were killed in Afghanistan. It took along time to really sink in that they were gone. While ur serving things almost dont seem real. Idk if its cause ur young and invincible, or its the training, or a lil of both ? But 12 years later its something i think about often. To these 2 warriors, and all the warriors that served this great nation, I salute you !

To all fallen heroes-our hearts continue to be with your families on this solemn day of remembrance.

But their deaths have absolutely nothing to do with our freedom. It has to do with the selfishness of the rich.
Rest easy brothers
Rest Easy Guys🇺🇸🥃
