Have you had good luck with that 5088, my dad's 2nd cousin had one and a 1586 and the 1586 was gone in one week after buying it, and the 5088 made it a bit longer until the clutch went out on it going down the road with 2 full 400 bushel gravity wagons and he barely got it stopped without killing himself. I ran a 5288 and if it had tilt steering it might be better but the cab was so damn loud and the stupid doors.
I had a the flex plate go out on me last spring, but other than that it’s has been a good tractor for me. It’s on pretty light duty now because I have a bigger tractor for the hard work. Mostly planting and on the fertilizer buggy

A suggestion. Get engine block heaters !! Much better for an engine

5088 is a very good tractor. I had one, was an absolute workhorse! Also had a 5488 as well
