I know this because many of my family members will tell their stories of witches, goblins, and La Llorona from México. My grandmother has heard her haunting howl. My grandmother even told me about how my uncle was chased by “La Llorona” all the way to his house when he was drunk. She is said to seem like a woman that is very well dressed but (I believe) have no face.

They’ve made a promise to lord knows what, so now they have a permanent bond with whatever it was they made the promise to. They promised that they’d never play the ouija again if it meant their safety. So assuming they don’t play it again, they still have the link to whatever they were talking to, through the permanent promise not to play it again. So they only way to break the promise is to play the ouija yet again. They’ve basically dug themselves deeper and probably put themselves into even more danger. P.S - yeah, that’s why it said goodbye. Whatever they were talking to now expects something from them, a promise. To break the link with the entity, they have to break that promise. The promise was their guaranteed safety. So they’ve basically fucked themselves over, big time :(
don't let the planchette get off the board, remember the board also acts as a door/ portal, that's why u can supposedly use it to communicate with those from the other "side" so to speak. Maybe the reason why the planchette was moving so slow was because there wasn’t enough energy in the hotel. Think about it the hotel doesn’t want you filming or using Ouija Boards because those things give the spirits energy. The hotel doesn’t want the spirits to have the energy because if they do they might scare the people who want to stay there off and then the hotel will go out of business.

You need to be careful who you invite into the ouija board. Once you invite a demon/ evil spirit to talk to you through it, it opens a portal to the other realm. Once the portal is opened it’s very hard to close and can cause all kinds of chaos!
