I am just about to start a new layout. I live in Panama and feel your pain about having to order everything and wait two-weeks to a month to receive it. I have decided to learn electronics and scratch build everything that I possibly can. As you know, not only does it save money, but it is an opportunity to learn a new skill. Same goes for model making -- I plan to build my own laser cutter and get a 3-D printer to make my own pieces and parts. So much fun! Thank you for an excellent video!
I am not pro in model railway but I have learned a lot in last couple of years. I will be sharing what is the best and economical method to get started.
