Finally trying LUCKNOW Biryani 🇮🇳

- The second half to my day exploring Lucknow.
I had to beat the heat with some Kulfi, this time with the most famous spot in all of Lucknow. I am ashamed to say I have not had enough Kulfi in my life. This place really shows you just how darn good it can be. It really makes me wonder why more people don't put Kulfi on the map with Ice Cream and Gelato. Just as good, if not better in my opinion.
So I was headed to go eat some Biryani and my eye caught all these people enjoying some Chaat. I had no clue what it was, but after asking a friendly gentleman I was able to find out it was Khasta Kachori which is a famous Chaat of Lucknow. This Chaat was so good, I would travel back to Lucknow just to eat this again.
Finally for the main star of the show, the biryani. Now, it seems like you really only have two options when it comes to Biryani in Lucknow and I decided to give Idrees a shot. And it was a good choice, but I am not too sure you can choose wrong for Biryani in Lucknow. This biryani was loaded with black pepper. So delicious and I loved the setup they gave me. Definitely would eat here again!
Finally, I had to show you the handsome chai wallas and the first people to give me something free in India! Sometimes we think of India as only the big cities but it's the smaller ones that really show you the love and hospitality on another level.

The people at biryani place were so hospitable, even with whatever they had they tried to make Max feel comfortable so he can enjoy his food. So lovely!

Please do consider having someone local around with you if you can, he can show you the best places. Saying this as an Indian, Although people in India are so lovely and helpful, sometimes it can be too hectic for a foreigner to cope with language barrier and everything, so introvert or not always consult a local if you can.
India will take you in you wont even know being wrapped up taken somewhere until you are there. I am introvert also and have travelled to many countries, but even with all its noise, dust and contradictions there is no place in the world like India. You might think being an Indian makes a difference, not much because when I travel outside my state then I am a stranger who does not speak the local language alike anyone coming from outside India

Hi Max! You're not suppose to bite the black pepper, it's just for flavouring. Remove it the next time you find it on your dish. Any flavour enhancers like green cardamom, black cardamom, etc. You're not suppose to eat those.

No, pepper is Expensive & it is really good for health & for immunity booster during cold! It is not something to be withdrawn from
@@miss_8thwonder lol who bites a whole black pepper with their biryani or gravy. I'm not saying it is to be withdrawn from, you can have it in powdered form, but definitely don't bite the whole black pepper and especially not with the food he's having. The taste would be too intense for Indian taste buds too, let alone a foreigner's.
