I'm stealing all of this lol. I was using an iPad 10" on ram mounts and had to go back down to a phone because the iPad, heavy duty case and mount were so heavy that going fast on rocky trails caused my tablet to sag down, regardless of how tight I had the ram mount. Plus your launcher makes transitioning between apps while driving a thousand times better than the native launcher. Thanks for sharing.
The speedo works off the GPS in the tablet. Unlike iPads, Samsung tablets do not need a cell signal for the GPS to work. This is why they work best for off-road navigation.
Just ordered basically your same setup except i got the new a8 10.5 tablet. Got a protective case for tablet. It doesnt look to bulky so hopefully magnets will hold. Thanks for sharing your video 🤘🏼
Yeah, I was wondering if a thick waterproof case would make a difference trying to mount it there. Thinking it would be too bulky? May try the Tab A7 with the 8.7 in screen.
The tablet is bad ass thanks for sharing!!but I have a question on the back up camera I’m assuming it doesn’t work off Wi-Fi if u don’t have a signal can it also work of Bluetooth also ?

I really liked your setup and did the same thing including the backup camera. I ran into a problem with the backup camera and I got the same one you haves. I got a Samsung wifi tablet and I share a wifi hotspot from my cell phone for internet however it will not allow me to connect both my camera wifi and the phone for internet. Just curious how you were able to get yours to work? Does your tablet use cellular data or something? I really appreciate you sharing all of this and I was very disappointed today when I couldn’t get my backup camera to work.
Sorry to hear it didnt work. Yeah. My tablet has a sim card with service. I started looking into that but didn't try to long. You might just have to switch networks from the phones wifi Hotspot to the camera Hotspot which you can do right from the camera app by clicking on the network icon in the top middle. Better than nothing I suppose.
Sadly, if you wear Polaroid Sunglasses the Samsung Tablet won’t be visible when viewed in horizontal (landscape mode) orientation. It has to be mounted vertically (portrait mode).
Thanks for the info. I added a WIFI camera to my Talon a few months ago. I mounted mine just under the roof to get a wider, all most top down field of view. I can see both fenders from it. My camera does have a delay which makes its almost unusable most likely because it was the cheapest one on Amazon. ha . Have you had any issue with that?

Steal away! That's why I made the video! Enjoy! I am! 😀

Awesome! They will hold! I've hit the hardest stuff in Moab and Sand Hollow and it budged maybe once. You'll like it!
@@ReactionOffroadUTV i was just about to ask if the mounts are still holding up. I live on east coast. Really ruff rutted out trails around here.
@@mikec.1331 100% held up!

Awesome!
Loving the launcher idea, I’ve had a tablet in a SXS for years and never thought of this.
Good content, thanks bro!
Glad you liked it!
Very helpful and valuable Video! Greatly appreciated.
Very nice setup
Thank you!
Can you use the gps and Spotify at the same time?
What is the floating app you use for orientation? The blue rectangular one? I can’t find it.

So the camera actually emits.the wifi signal and you join the cameras wifi network. Does that make sense?
@@ReactionOffroadUTV do you have a link to the camera you have.

Do you connect the backup camera & tablet on same WiFi?
What speaker you got ?
What backup camera are you using with that app?

Running into same issue

Better solution: Don't wear Polaroid sunglasses. And are those like Kodak or Fuji sunglasses? :) Or are you referring to polarized sunglasses?
I can see it fine with my polarized glasses.

Haven't been out riding with it yet but so far it's stayed connected with almost no lag. Hopefully it stays that way.
To use the WiFi camera you have to have WiFi to use it right
Correct!
What year is your talon?
It's a 2020
