No one can say enough good things about Norm. He is a class act, great guy and always cheerful. A tremendous ambassador for our sport of bowling. To do it for so many years is just incredible. He's hands down my favorite. Oh, he's a pretty good bowler too !! I sure hope I'm lucky enough to get to talk with him at the U.S. Open this weekend.
Since I’m watching PBA, I started with “I don’t like this guy, he looks cocky”. The more videos I watched with Norm Duke in it, I slowly like this guy. Then, this video makes me LOVE this guy! So humble and yet still good at this sport even he’s turning 56 this year. What a great player he is. Thank you PBA to provide this video and prove me wrong on my first thought of him.
where have you been? I've been watching Norm since I was a kid and im 36 now. I always liked how he seems to always fine the positive side of life. He can seem tough but that's simply because he is competitive.
@@ryancutrona673 when I was young, the television in my country didn't show this in any of their channels (or I didn't notice since I'm just a kid) and my parents didn't watch it either. But we did play bowling together as a family sport. If I'm learning hook and take a class of it, surely I will know who he is. After 11 years since the last I bowl, I get back to this sport and learning how to play hook ball, then I started to watch all of these kinds of videos. I guess I'm too late to know this person but feels good at the same time as I got to know his personality before he's retiring.
I've wondered for years if when they are between games having fun with each other trash talking or having a beer they have fun about Norm's reference in the Bowling Song by comedian Stephen Lynch. Its maybe not kid appropriate but it's funny as heck: th-cam.com/video/bjuWZat0gjU/w-d-xo.html the dude is such a legend comedians referenced him in comedy sketches nearly 20 years ago.
Yeah, Belmo Anthony and Duke each have a different claim for being the greatest of all time. Anthony dominated as a stroker and retired early, Belmonte has revolutionized the game and also dominated while Duke has been a steady though less dominant player for 37 years with 40 titles. All three are very impressive in different ways.
Bless this man, this legend. He is just such a joy to watch. Bowling or commentating. I hope we will see him on the tour for many many more years.
So much Respect for Norm. He appreciates greatness. One of the best bowlers in the world and still idolizes Belmo is amazing.
Duke is such a great guy!! Hope to meet him some day
Tyler Brock I’ve met him. He’s really nice
It always melts my heart when Norm positively talks about Jason :,)♡
Amen! They are both kind hearted!
My favourite bowler of ALL-TIME!! 👍👍 An awesome talent and a real gentleman. Class all the way! #respect

Throw in Earl Anthony and you'd have the three greatest of all time.
