I was about to suggest this 😊 is this the radio version. I just love what she says after......who keeps himself from the media, I wonder how different this beautiful track would be. Sorry my words. This is intensely regonision of a part of our soul. I feel it echoes the peace deep within.. called love! Love to you all listeners! 💙
Thank god, i never thought that i would see a burial vid devoid of euro-diehards mucking up the comments ever again... This beautiful little number is a fucking gem, big ups from me and im glad to see that this song getting the respect that it deserves.
currently studying for paper 1 of my politics A-Level, which is tomorrow afternon... It's 11:34 pm. Burial has been the soundtrack to my studies and life in general over the last 9 or so months, and while perhaps this is making me feel a little drowsy at this hour, I am feeling far more relaxed because of it. Beautiful tune.
Wel... This sounds a bit different and a lot clearer than this version: soundcloud.com/thevinylfactory/massive-attack-vs-burial The soundcloud version gives the clipping, noisy effect of burial. But not the clipping of the voice. At the start (around 20 seconds) you can easily hear the difference between this version and the (better) version on soundcloud.
7:30 onward.... If only i could turn back time and look into your eyes again... (Rachel) 4 months clean and slowly getting back to reality.. Been Such a fool.. My friend overdosed and died last month in his sleep.. Please society help my generation :(
Love is like a sin, my love For the one that feels it the most Look at her with her smile like a flame She will love you like a fly will never love you again You're part of me, so afraid It's unfortunate that when we feel a storm We can roll ourselves over 'cause we're uncomfortable Oh well, the devil makes us sin But we like it when we're spinning in his grip
I got myself a copy, and the pressing is actually quite distorted in some parts, especially in the vocals. This rip does sound a bit more clippy that the usual though.
This is only available on vinyl, very limited pressing and the one or two people who were lucky enough to rip it did a horrible job it, and so the only versions on the net (that I've found so far) are this one, and the Mary Ann Hobbs version. I don't think the original has the clipping as the MAH version was surprisingly pure. One of these days, someone'll do it right...
man i remember jamming to the original back in days of a haze. never quite understood the part of the song where it says like something would love u again? im awful with making out fading lyrics. anyone shed some light on this!
Burial's releases are mostly vinyl only.. A few of his tracks will be availuable on cd aswell. But If you really want to buy this track, this might be the only place to get it.. Assuming you really love this track and are willing to spend 200 + € discogs[.]com/Massive-Attack-vs-Burial-Four-Walls-Paradise-Circus/release/3184385
Yeah I always listen to the rip from that radio show with the woman speaking over it. When I first heard the muffled vinyl version I was like 'ergh, what the hell?' Not Burial's usual crackly-ness.
It's a firm opinion, and it not lending itself to your own doesn't make me a twat. It's long, doleful, layerful and artistic, like many tracks I've heard in thirty years of listening to off-piste music since I was a teenager (and with many more decades prior covered within that 30 year period). So to clarify, it may be 'iconic' within the past decade but in terms of innovation and even generating emotion, it's average to me in the context of the bigger picture. I certainly wouldn't bother defending it, like a twat might. It can look after itself.
Stu_Lopher Your welcome to think what you want about the track.. why do you feel the need to write a comment? What makes you think your comment deserves to be heard or holds any weight? Who the fuck cares about off-piste music (whatever that means?? Apreski? Dj Ötzi?). Get over yourself, if you dont like it dont listen! Its youtube, not a platform for you to critique.. what music have you made? Let me guess, fuck all.
You're really rather sensitive about this aren't you? Firstly, I'm equally as welcome to write what the fuck I like as much as think it - I didn't realise youtube comments were suddenly meant to be a utupia of positivity. Secondly, I'm not actually being particularly harsh about it, I'm not trolling, I simply think that it's overated (due in part to the £250 rarity/accessibility factor). I respect those who enjoy it and appreciate it - even you in that context - I'm just adding a little counter-balance to the universal love-in. I'm not saying my opinion is any more informed than anybody else's, it's a bleedin' opinion. No doubt such a self-indulgent tune can look after itself, it doesn't need you acting as a concerned relative. And finally - "if you don't like it, don't listen!" - how the fuck does that work then, bellend? Rhetorical question, you best get back on Burial rimming duty.
Stu_Lopher it was a limited edition release, what people charge on discogs is irrelevant. The only thing thats average is your embellished response and whats less than average is your taste in music.. katy perry!? Try and justify that.
the most deep & emotional twelve and a half minutes of electronic music anyone's ever created, quite simply
this might just be my favourite piece of artwork ever created
this song is amazing
The sorrow and love and reflexion deeply resonates with me!
somehow i believe that a person who likes this song cant be bad..
Well....
i have lost count of how many times ive listened to this.
I need more versus releases from Burial... crazyy af . I wish that there was cassette version too, 9:34 .... 4EVER
Fancy seeing you here

Hauntingly beautiful & otherworldly
massive attack did some pretty sick shit and you can't help notice an influence on some burial tracks
cheers, m8. you're sending good vibes out into the world by posting this tune
Thank god, i never thought that i would see a burial vid devoid of euro-diehards mucking up the comments ever again... This beautiful little number is a fucking gem, big ups from me and im glad to see that this song getting the respect that it deserves.
Just so beautiful

the 'clipping' is burial's signature

Auracio_music on you tube . Come with listen. Its maybe for you
So why does the digital version sound so much cleaner? Because the vinyl is pressed badly
7:30 onward.... If only i could turn back time and look into your eyes again... (Rachel)
4 months clean and slowly getting back to reality.. Been Such a fool..
My friend overdosed and died last month in his sleep.. Please society help my generation :(

The greatest remix ever. Takes a colossal dump on anything Massive Attack ever have, or ever could, do on their own.
corganrocks it's not a competition
I met a girl who loved Burial once. I fell in love with her instantly. She's gone now.
My ex loved Burial. He is also gone. Almost 10 years later, I still love Burial.
Violet Rain well this is a sad thread :(
I feel like this song holds and nurtures the dark side of me
I got myself a copy, and the pressing is actually quite distorted in some parts, especially in the vocals. This rip does sound a bit more clippy that the usual though.
Play this at my funeral please.
I already live in this song
im drowning is pure ecstasy, help
I have 2 of this songs playing at the same time!
OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!
OMGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!
That's Burial for you haha. He uses clipping on purpose in songs. I think it adds to his whole gritty sound.
Thank you very much! :)
yes youre right :)
too bad not even one of my friends listens to him..
I want to live in this song
i smoke dope every night and sleep to this on a playlist
in love
I think if you find someone tho likes Burial, you've likely found yourself a friend :)
Very nice song.. *)
Cool story bro....

i have the origonal, great post. nice one, dont want to play mine.
I want to travel the world recording video suitable for his songs.
Would you consider adding, Come down to us by Burial?
I came
@DoubleTheWorstTroubl it's Burial, he fucking loves a bit of clipping
That's just how the vinyl is supposed to be, I guess. It sounds the same with my copy.
some1 please make 10 hours version of this moment, 11:26 - 11:42 .
I'll see what I can do
It's Burial. What else can you say? Salvation....
This is only available on vinyl, very limited pressing and the one or two people who were lucky enough to rip it did a horrible job it, and so the only versions on the net (that I've found so far) are this one, and the Mary Ann Hobbs version. Where can I get this song??
And I would actually like to buy it! For real! :)
????
"I'm neither owner nor producer." well of course you're not burial m8!! :P
Seems like this distorts less than the other vinyl rip i was able to find online. Any chance you could upload the 2 tracks somewhere?
Ooh
anyone found a clean version of this yet?
Bjutiful.
man i remember jamming to the original back in days of a haze. never quite understood the part of the song where it says like something would love u again? im awful with making out fading lyrics. anyone shed some light on this!
thats not just you, all of burials vocals are manipulated like that
well make room for meeeeeee
i want to die in this song
The transfer sounds like it's gone into clipping? :(
Hmm, what's all this clipping I hear?
The distortion is probably made on purpose.
جميلة جدا
It's recorded from a vinyl so it's probably that
The vinyl is bad quality to begin with, sounds completely different from the wav download file

*)
then this arent ur friends =D
the clean one is too high
,.
by "HQ Vinyl Rip", i think you mean just "Vinyl Rip". there is nothing HQ about it. Clean your fucking needle.
have you heard any other tracks by Burial ?
You're right, but it was an issue with how the vinyl was pressed. All the copies sounded like this. The digital version sounds a LOT clearer
The digi also lacks every aspect that makes me love this song
Yeah I always listen to the rip from that radio show with the woman speaking over it. When I first heard the muffled vinyl version I was like 'ergh, what the hell?' Not Burial's usual crackly-ness.
It's interesting but average. Dont believe the hype, it's quite literally a sequal.

I have two daughters aged 7 & 9 who enjoy watching a wide range of popular music videos on my laptop. Farewell.
