EXCELLENT LESSON ! I this should be one of the first things a mandolinest should learn. After all you don't build a house without first laying the foundation. You don't take a journey without knowing where your going. My best friend is a master musician and this was his first challenge for me. Hey how about a lesson on a moveable minor scale patterns ? Thanks mandolessons !
I've been trying to play viola music on my mandolin. I've just been picking the OneNote at a time, is this doable? Or should I say condoned? Yes I am thinking of restringing it like the viola too I would consider it like a 3/4 size Mandola haha
I want to know how I can get more sustain when I play a chord. Any suggestions? For instance when you played the C note on the G string, it sounded like a thump. If I'm playing a slow waltz and only play the downbeats, the sound is gone by the 3rd beat.
I have been struggling. For several months It seems that nobody mentions how hard to press on a string to get it to play correctly And IN CONSEQUENCE I've been doing it all wrong And not pressing hard enough
my A chords are coming out sounding low not high every time I go higher up with sound its lower on the alphabet on my electronic tuner. help please. if you understand what I'm saying. I may have said that wrong
+Zachary Foster Sorry, I am not quite sure what you mean! I hope you can figure it out! It's confusing at first, but you'll get it! Thanks for watching.
