I’m glad that people still care about master sets & trading. I remember back in the year 2000 when booster packs were $3 or so and it was not easy for a kid to open a million packs like today. Back then common & uncommon cards had a true value, for example you would trade 2 common cards for an uncommon and so on. It was fun and you learn some negotiation skills in the process. Now a days they call them bulk cards and you find them on the floor after the packs were opened. 😢
Nowadays its a shame how they collect and hording cards and booster...i still try to get the vintage Sets all together like gym challenge. But watching those youtubers is cancer...

Yes
100% need the versions of the holos. They are the Original Galaxy and Galaxy HD. Personal Favs are the Originals, Swirls get the Girls

That's funny cause Arbok ex full art was the first 151 pull I got from a pack.
jake being that rough with cards that are re-prints of the cards from my childhood from booster packs I literally cannot acquire in my country fills me with such anxiety and rage i didn't know i could feel.
we all get you guys have dumped a shit load of money into this and are quite successful, but the literal disrespect you put on all the cards as a whole is bad. yeah the crazy pulls are dope but fuck you do not need to just willy-nilly throw and bend and rip at the cards like that cause they're not the "big super rare ones". most of us can't afford to open like this and I personally can't even acquire these packs locally, so chill fam

I guess theres no excitement if you are able to buy all the packs needed or cards at once, collecting these cards should take you long time and a good enjoyable journey

New to the pokemin hobby. I’m a sports card collector but started Pokémon to bond with my son. That being said, he’s not into it as much as I am lol. A tip I was given is start with a set and keep building in that. I chose Crown Zenith which I love but want to start collecting 151. Does this set still hold a ton of value? Will it be valuable over time? Love the content!

so when you guys do master sets do you also collect commons or no? ive never done one 151 is my first try and i started with all the commons but i guess that isnt the norm? or do i need to do commons reverse holo and holo for it to be a full set?
