If something is "just beyond fixable" in your opinion, it is GONE. Seriously. I love watching you work. My daughter and I rebuilt all the mechanicals on a 1966. Not a restoration. I hit the wall at the sheet metal. So I love seeing what it could have been. She later went into the Navy and they offered her an engineering scholarship, so the work was not wasted.

You just about lost me when, after all the work done, you announced the Boss Mustang was up for sale. This has been a serious and interesting build that deserves completion. Sure, sell it after you are finished but please finish it! Your projects are always informative and entertaining and we appreciate showing us the ins and outs of the process. Thank you and best wishes for the full time TH-cam commitment.

Like the others who have posted here, I enjoy your videos and I admire and respect the work that you do. Replacing rusted out sheet metal is not a skill learned in a week or a month. It appears to be the hardest task in restoring these Mustangs. It is fortunate that replacement sheet metal is available.
The 1967 through 1970 Mustangs are my personal favorite. I want to get one when I retire in, well, a few more than a few years and tour the USA in it.

Glad you're back. Bought a 70 coupe because of your videos. Been buying parts to get ready for a full restoration. I want a fastback but you can't touch a rust bucket for less than 10k now.
I just want to say to all the viewers you will never meet a more honest hard working genuine person! I recall his first body type of repair some years ago was fixing a fiberglass hood. It needed major reconstruction and he jumped rite in and took his time with every layer of matting and resin and shaping and made it look like new again! From day one he was dedicated to learning and doing every aspect of the metal work and body work him self. I'm sure he figured out who I am by now if he reads this lol.

The unibody structure of the Ford manufacturing on these cars is excellent they were good on the racetrack they were so strong. Preferred working on these cars over any GMs.

Good decision , to go full time and watch a person from my trade repair and build it the correct way with weld thre primers and pride in his work.

Yes back in the day when they bondoed , that notchback's roof, the roof panels were not available,but they are now, thank God all these new parts available for these cars we can save . Did exactly what Peterson's doing here in the late seventies did quite a few mustangs till I went into collision repair 40 years at dealerships. Should have stayed working for myself. Much bigger demand for these cars these days.

vise grip garage just got a 66 that needs your help. Its just good enough that it doesn't look that bad but it is.
I should bring you my 68' coupe. I've been kickin the idea around of making it a fastback. Its just a little rougher than the pink coupe that your working on. My car would need front rails and floor supports. So yes I love the vids and look forward to the pink coupe coming back to life!!

Glad to see you back! I am super interested in the sheet metal replacement series. I've got a 67 that needs inner rear aprons as the previous owner messed up the hood hinge areas. Your work is amazing and always super clean. Looking forward to seeing the complete processes.

If I may make a suggestion, while just talking to the camera use a fixed camera and use a camera with stabilization when you’re moving around. Otherwise glad to see you back . Looking forward to seeing more. Is the Boss 302 the same car you picked up and replaced all the metal on?

Not to nit-pick, but on the 64 1/2, I seem to recall that the early 260 V8 'Stangs had gold paint on the valve covers and air cleaner.
Nice to see you back Ben. I would like to see a video on what to look out for when buying a Mustang. I'm looking for a 67-68 coupe and would like to know how to spot poor workmanship on repairs that have been done such as floors, quarter panels, fender aprons, etc. I looked at one that someone had cut out most of the floor and laid the replacement floor on top of what was left. I don't know what they used to cut the old floor but it had all jagged edges. Keep up the great videos!

Make the videos "simple". You dont need to over whelm us or yourself with lots of setups, every angle, etc shots. Just a simple basic over the shoulder view and highlight the most technical or difficult situations. I think most of us just like to watch you work. I would rather see simple videos more often than complex or technical ones sporadically. You have an inviting workshop, the flow of work is relaxed, and since you are very accomplished you make it look easy.
Fastback conversion? You need a new top. That would be a very interesting video. Your audience would like the build.
I’ve been waiting for the roof replacement video. Please be in-depth.

Ben I am fixing to start welding in floor pans spot Welds I'm going to screw it down across the pan just to stretch it out get it to where everything lays right and then slowly go across that transmission hump in sections, to keep from warping sheet metal, like I think I've seen you do before I want to thank you personally for taking on the mustangs I personally I'm a Chevy guy but Mustang is the only Ford I'll take and your videos are excellent I've watched several other videos sorry to say but those people are idiots nobody's near as informative as you are I could put out a better video than most of the other ones but thanks again keep up the good work my friend
