This State is so underrated. I moved here in 2000 from Ca and have no regret. The only thing I don't like is cold weather in winter time. My favorite seasons are Spring and Fall.
Although these drone videos, such as this one, are certainly nice, I have yet to see one that flies slightly north of downtown and up the coast over Milwaukee's Bradford Beach. I think it's worth including, considering it's a huge part of the city's summer lifestyle.
I will consider it for sure this spring/ summer. Still not even a year in, and honestly looking back, I don't even like this video that much. It was my 1st major video I completely self edited and I rushed it out of excitement. Milwaukee 2.0's will be coming, and with far better editing as im learning those ropes.
@@adam3472 I think you're selling yourself wayyyyyyyy too short. Your opening shot, for example, passing over the Hoan Bridge while showing how expansive Milwaukee's skyline is developing, as it continues its progression northward with the multiple high-rises on the bluffs overlooking Lake Michigan is gorgeous. It's a great intro. At 3:17, you even show a close-up of those bluffs and there are other brief shots of them. You also have a number of views of Lake Michigan: of coming over the lake, of downtown with the lake as a backdrop and even different shots of the lighthouses. What will surprise people who have never been to Milwaukee is the developing skyline that you have shown quite well and something I mentioned in my initial comment - Bradford Beach. A few overhead views at different angles of BB in the summer when it is packed with the volleyball tournaments, lots of boats in the lake, etc., would blow people away. I've been there at ground level and it is breathtaking. So, I can well imagine how great it would look from overhead with various perspectives of the bluffs, downtown and the lake as background. People do not think of Milwaukee in those terms and that is why I believe people look at videos such as this in the first place - to discover something they didn't know. In large part - you accomplished that. I can't believe this was your first major video. It is wonderful. Thank you.
