Andrew, You and Dougal deserve to have the 2021 Morelo Grand Empire 110 DSO for your travels! It's time for Morelo to let you use this model of the Grand Empire for one year so that you can thoroughly test and write about this magnificent vehicle... The 2021 Morelo Grand Empire 110 DSO is definitely a candidate for the 2021 Dougal 10 Paw Award!
Have really enjoyed your videos on the show, thanks for sharing. That Morelo is a great motorhome reminds me of American RV’s. 👍🏴🏴🏴🏴👍🏴🏴🏴🏴👍
Very nice. At last a comfy sofa in a motorhome. It looks like a very hi tech coach, sadly I have given up my PSV licence. Best wishes, ilona. PS love to Dougal.
@@andrewjditton What would be the MAXIMUM size rig you'd look if you'd had to pick one to drive through Europe? What are your opinions about a 8m (26.5 feet) long & 2.5 m (8 feet) wide rig (intended to be primarily driven through Europe)
Wow, what a vehicle, would you need a Class 2 HGV to drive it ? and is there a UK version, just dreaming, must come back to earth and be content with my Bailey Imperial!! Thank you Andrew, take care.
@@christinegibbins6105 the classification doesn't matter, it's a rigid vehicle over 7,500kg so it's a category C. I currently drive a motorhome of similar size, and while it is classed as a private HGV on the V5, you still need the proper licence to drive it.
The kitchen area is very small for an RV, lacks essentials like an induction oven, also storage is limited, not to mention the refrigerator looks very narrow. I wished they would've extended the slides to the restroom, or at least made slides for the bedroom (which looks horribly cramped) But this RV is second to none in craftsmanship!
Massage chairs, under-floor-heating...I absolutely HATE it...would never want to go outside...would not want to get it dirty... FRUSTRATION...want one SO badly...tears...
Wow, beautiful but I’d spend my entire holiday not relaxing but worrying about whether it would fit where I wanted to go, oh no hang on that’s my butler’s job! Keeping everything crossed that they need one man and his trusty hound to take it on a loooooong test ;-)
I just want to know where you found that Oh so cool mask! 😁 Amazing motorhome, seriously sweet! But from my trips through Europe, mostly through Germany, France, Spain, Portugal, England and Denmark... the size would be a seriously limiting factor! There would be many entire towns you would have to bypass. But I have to admit $685k euros or $811k USD is much less than I would have expected! Almost (cough-cough) a bargain! Great video, thank you!
Andrew Ditton - Thank you! However unfortunately when I go to purchase it flashes up a warning ‘THIS ITEM DOES NOT DELIVER TO THE UNITED STATES!” Complete with explanation point, LOL! Do you think they will ship to us when we get a new President in November? Are we that hated over there? 🤣
@@Erin-Thor What would be the MAXIMUM size rig you'd look at which would JUST BARELY avoid the constraint you mentioned above 😜? What are your opinions about a 8m (26.5 feet) long & 2.5 m (8 feet) wide rig if intending to primarily drive through Europe?
@@AnkitYadav-td6mg - You’re framing your question incorrectly. (Sorry) Buses and Trucks go all over Europe, all you’ll need is a high end GPS like a Garmin that will allow you to enter the vehicles height, width or length into its memory. It will route you a safe route, and if you turn down a road (vary your route) it will alarm you that your vehicle exceeds the height, width or length for a given underpass road or turn. I say this because it’s not just the width, it’s the length too. Some vehicles will fit down a road, but because of the length may not be able to make a turn at some point. And some of the turns we made in our bus scared the pee outta me, 🤣 and I wasn’t even driving, and I used to drive a semi (big long truck). So I can’t just say 2.75m as that might work for most roads, as if your length is 9m you are going to be unable to make some turns. I remember one road where there was a few inches/millimeters on either side, pedestrians had to scoot into doorways/walkways to let the bus pass them. My point is that that road was fine for the driver, he’d done it before. But if I were driving a motor home through there for the first time it’d be scary. Cheers!
Hi Andrew! All Morelo RVs look great on video. I had a new one for 2 years and there is a lot wrong with them. Also Concorde. Know several who think the same. People can buy what they want, but never more Morelo on me.
Interesting, he was very careful not to speak for his customers, sorry 'clients'. Like everyone else, I expect, I still wonder what you would do with one of these 'land yachts'. I can only picture the F1 Paddock (from television). I'll take three!
Great video as always Andrew. I have just ordered a new black Mini. Is the cost of the car included in the price of the motorhome as I do not need two!
I love the idea of something like this but, for me at least, it would simply be totally impractical for the places I'd want to take it, even with the Mini in the garage.
Please don’t bring it anywhere near the Lake District either🤪😉. Can you imagine some Muggle with more money than mental capacity trying to get round Hardknott Pass 🤭😎
Watched this after the Vantage..Every thing you need apart from easy mobility on European roads and possibly any evidence of taste unless bling is your thing.. internally it’s hideous ,migraine inducing mirror bright surfaces. And of course perfectly fitting for such a lorry a leather vibrating slippy sofa. Now I will watch the Vantage film again.
So is this an electric vehicle? At least tell me the Mini is an E Mini that charges while you drive. Great video Andrew, have a good trip home to Dougal.
Braw video. Stunning coach. It would not be wise to drive something that big on the single track roads in Scotland, or more specifically the NC 500. Eeish. Slàinte
Stupid question. Does the sale price of the coach include the Mini, or is the Mini a separate expense? I Did say a 'Stupid question'.😂 Inquiring minds want to know.
Mach dir keine Sorgen. Ich mache mir darüber keine Sorgen. Nur traurige Leute, die zu dumm sind, um zu realisieren, dass es tatsächlich zur Werbung für das Video beiträgt ;)
I can definitely see the appeal of a vehicle like this, and knowing a few people in the competitive motorbiking and equestrian communities, I can see that those might be potential markets for it…but…not for me at all, I'm afraid. Give me a sub-6m panel van conversion that I can drive in the Highlands, or the Lake District (or anywhere else, for that matter!) any day. Anyway, that garage might be a little bit over-the-top for my walking boots!
I am as speechless as Andrew when I saw this video. But then I came to my senses. This is a bus. People who can afford to buy this vehicle dont have the time to use it. Or are very rich. And for the massage seats: there are massage mats available which work with the cigarette lighter of the car. I call this glamping not camping in such a vehicle. And I would rather get a house for the 600 grand. One could also live permanently in this.
Very impressive. But not for me. I am so lucky to be early retired, single & free to go wherever. I keep looking for a conversion for one person, because over the years I have found that you actually NEED a lot less than you think. I travel around in a 6m converted Citroen Relay, carrying my eBike, a motorbike & a kayak. I still have room for a full shower room, a double bed & full kitchen facilities. However, for those that require such as this Morelo, good luck to you! Only one lifetime to each, so let's all enjoy it in our own way.

If you can afford one of these you probably own enough land that you can just camp around your property.
