    How could a 3yr old be married and was it binding? Any further information on him please?

      In those days a child could be married at the whim of the parents. No laws were broken and it was quite common at that time. It was done for reasons of land and estates.

    How old was Elizabeth Rogerson then. You just couldn't imagine a priest standing in the church marrying a four year old boy they'd do anything for money,land and status in those days
