Annihilator stealth had such a potential as an upgraded version of the annihilator if it had 4 explosive machine guns or something to it, kinda sad that it ended up as an akula knock-off
I think that flying a Stealth Annihilator is actually a huge flex. Everyone knows the Akula is better in every way. Owning the Stealth Annihilator shows that you have so much money, you can buy whatever useless stuff you want.
Same goes for most of the Arena War vehicles.

POV: you bought the annihilator and you’re trying to find reasons to back up why the annihilator doesn’t suck so bad
This is 100% accurate.
So, they just looked at people wanting the annihilator and said, "huh, let's make a worse version of a chopper that already exists, that's only real good thing is seating". Like, if it had armour like the akula and hunter, then it may have a use, or immunity to locking attacks at all times, though we saw how that idea went with the "stealth" bomber. Eh I'll just use the normal annihilator. Looks better, and is free if you know where to look.
Conclusion: just buy the Akula.
Altough if you want to make a movie scene choose Annihilator Stealth!

@@thewither6358 I think the Hunter is better. Sure, it cant go invisible on a whim, but it has Countermeasures, 7 missiles per barrage (Akula has 4) and a Cannon for the Copilot that is actually useful.
3:10 When doing the annihilator stealth stealth test, you put up your landing gear instead of putting away the weopons. You can still see the machine gun bay still open.
The akula lights actually turn off tho when it’s in stealth mode

I use the Stealth Annihilator utility helicopter for different applications than the Akula attack helicopter. In a hot server I find the Annihilator useful when doing heist preparation with other players and some business source missions when I want to minimise chance of being detected and attacked by hostile players, it's rappelling feature is also useful for inserting players into tight areas that the helicopter can't land and the missiles are good for performing air support against enemy NPC's.
for the people talking about the lights:
1. akula stealth mode turns the lights off
2. it may still have the green and red lights but that doesn’t matter if the annihilator also has the green and red lights

If anyone was wondering what those pipes sticking out of the Akula's front are, they're Pitot Tubes, which are used to measure air preasure, and from there estimate air speed and other important info (not to say they're used for that in the game. Just that's what they're used for in real life)

One thing I like about the new chopper is that your friends can actually rappell from the back like during the cayo perico heist, not very useful but great for roleplay or making video’s.

In GTA 5 online you have a unique feature with the annihilator stealth. You can use a rope to drop down. You don’t see this in the video. Ideal to do some Navy Seal role play and it can carry more passengers. My opinion buy them both if you have the money. 💰

Akula has a stealth mode the savage got an explosive minigun the stromberg can dive but now they are just re using content instead making new abiltys for vehicles
Since the stealth annihilator can carry passangers it would be awesome if they could fire their weapons while the chopper is in stealth. Then it would have an advantage over the akula and be worth buying.
But as it is now, its not worth it. Nobody is buying shark cards to afford this, Rockstar.

I think players on the sides can use their weapons on stealth mode, like rifles and rpgs.
To be fair the normal one had that as well
I like the Annihilator’s appearance more personally, but you can’t say it’s better in terms of stats. The Akula outclasses it easily in speed and tankiness. The higher speed factor is fine, but I believe the Annihilator should be buffed up to be able to take 3 homing missile shots. It doesn’t make sense that it is slower and that it costs the same to get Max armor but the armor does nothing against missiles.
It’s especially annoying just because if I have an Akula and I’m flying around in stealth mode for fun it’s okay if some jerk shoots a missile at me, but with the Annihilator, which I enjoy flying more, it’s more annoying since I will die about every time. Please fix it, the slower less maneuverable stealth chopper should be the tankier one
I still think that when you’re in stealth mode people shouldn’t be able to hit you with homing missiles, defeats the purpose of have stealth as soon as you come across someone with a jet

2. You have to activate it preemptively as just doing it when locking on sounds is not sufficient
Chaff is better against vehicles with serial firing missiles but when it comes to general usefullnes flares are better as you don't have to come into a fight prepared to fight and can still dodge a missile so I'd say that if you don't want to dogfight or generally PvP flares are better

@@ahhhhhhh8004 Why trouble yourself with having to predict an attack when you will only be fighting things without good missiles. In my case I almost never actually play on full public session so it just doesn't make sense, when my friend on the ground randomly decides to shoot me down I can actually react now so as I said, It depends on the use intended. I usually just fight with friends and thus cannot expect attacks and for that purpose, flares are sufficient so stop going around with your head in your ass saying "Chaff is better than flares" If you cannot realize that they have different uses dependant on context.
But yeah I take away the statement that chaff is hard to use, not sure why I said that.

The functionality of the annihilator isnt as good but I actually like the design of it over the akula. It feels more compact and you're able to hold 4 more people in it than the akula which means 6 people are off radar. Put one person with a combat mg with FMJ rounds and another with a flare gun (or two people with flares) and it can actually be kinda useful.
I'm hoping the armor is just bugged amd it takes as many as the akula because it could be a menace with multiple people in it.

Honestly, as an expert helicopter pilot, I'm probably gonna use the Annihilator more than the Akula. The akula is equipped with homing rockets, because barrage rockets are impossible to use due to its sensitive turning.
I give the Annihilator barrage and its turning is much more like the buzzard, making it extremely viable, even in PvP (and dont say it sucks because of Opressors. Literally everything sucks against it.)
Sure the hunter can use both Homing and Barrage, BUT the handling is the worst of the 3 and thus barrage is not very reliable, especially against armored vehicles.
In other words. Don't consider the Annihilator unless you're an expert Buzzard Pilot. It's definitely my favorite for farming missions already.
Also just to be clear, I still think it should've had more functions to make it unique from the Akula. That it could've had countermeasures (with stealth replacing bomb bay input) OR! Having a hook like the Cargobob.
Which would be sweet af to carry a a military car or even a tank under it while still being prepared to defend the tank.
The akula's barrage rockets are very well usable. Just look at a few Videos from GerThunderlod. He is a real pro.

@@lightningelector3194 have you even gone up against broomstick tryhards who can just free fire the missles? It really does not work well.
Given that they just announced the nerfs for their rockets AND countermeasures, the hunter will likely be viable. Honestly I've just been sticking with the Buzzard and Sparrow because they both have immensely short cooldowns, spawn like MC bikes, and are hard to get shot down by homing launchers.
And barrages don't work well because of how fast armored cars have become, like the agency vehicles, or insurgents. You'd have to both know exactly how to aim the tail rudders while also knowing how far you have to aim ahead of those cars due to barrage missles having some of the worst blast radius stats compared to every other rocket.
The normal annihilator is even better and cooler than this one

Pretty much the only reasons I bought the Annihilator Stealth is because I already owned the Apache (Hunter), it has the rappel feature, and because the Annihilator Stealth is based off a Blackhawk, and me and my friends use it for Military RP's.
Stealth Annihilator has quieter blades so I guess it lives up to the name better
Technically speaking they’re the same thing, but the Akula is faster and more durable. Akula is better, but just by a little bit.

Fun thing about the Annihilator is that people can rappel down from it. Always fun to drop off friends in style.
