Thanks for the video, Sawyer. I have one knife that has a connection to Randy, he won a denim micarta QSP Penguin but had entered for me and I had won several things for him before. He had offered to send me some of his beads and knife stands a couple of time but I always declined because I didn’t want him to spend money on shipping me something. I’m sad I never picked up one of his slips. One of the things the Mattisfaction/Said Stevie/Pocket Metal guys do is to action off donations that are sent in or photographed and payments are made to the fundraising site. It was good to have known Randy, thanks for sharing the memories and especially the humorous ones. Randy would’ve probably wanted you to use that Taylor’s eye witness…
I've been out of the loop for a while, so I only just heard the sad news! Rest in peace, Randy. You were a pillar of our little community and brought so many people together over your love of knives. It was a pleasure and an honour to have known you, even if not personally. I will pray for Randy's mother. May she find peace in this saddening time. God bless. ❤
