i did the water pump on my 2.2 a couple of years ago, it was a pain ,took us like 10 hours of work, you have to remove the timing cover and the right cv axle , its a pain but it can be done without removing the exhaust manifold...
Yeah…I took a look at it and decided not to do it myself. I could but I didn’t want to occupy my friend’s workshop for two days. I estimated 8hrs which is quite close to what you have done. My 159 also has a slow loss of coolant…. It losses more when the car is parked for weeks (l.e. When the car is cold)
