In 2008, I survived an inflammation in my head. Since 2014, I live with a tumor in my stomach. It's hard, but I continue to trust in the Lord. He has done so much for me. If you go through hard times, please remember that God is there for you and has a good plan for your life.

Always a tough poi t when our well as we know it nears the empty mark. We feel it. We are left drained and close to our breaking point. However, its not by our will but buy his strength that resides within. Jesus struggle with carrying the cross after a brutal whipping of agonizing and appauling display of mans ignorance.. This did not stop our Lord from his destiny because our Lord had a purpose of our salvation to complete. You, Sir, shall be sustained by the Almighty. I am finding myself listening to this everyday. I have very complicated health problems. My doctors don't even know why I am still alive---God!!! They are not Christians. I first heard this song at a "Women of Faith" conference many years ago. I'm a man, so what was I doing at a "Women of Faith" conference? Well, I was a volunteer. You know the little goodie bags that get placed on every seat? Someone has to haul those heavy boxes containing those little bags up the steep arena stairs. Well, I was one of those guys. And when I was done with that, during the conference I worked one of the merchandise booths. Women worked in the booths during breaks, but when the conference was in session the women wanted to attend the conference. So they needed men to work the booths while the sessions were in progress, because a lot of women liked to slip away during the session to shop when it wasn't so crowded. Anyway, this song came on, and I was mesmerized. One of the most beautiful Christian songs I have ever heard. "Like a rose trampled on the ground...you took the fall, and thought of me...above all." The song was written by Lenny LeBlanc, who sings here, and Paul Baloche.
I am also heard this song first time from women of faith with tears...😭

@@anndebanders482 It was a very enjoyable and fulfilling experience. I started out hauling those heavy boxes up the steps, then working in the merchandise booth (boy, those women can spend!). Eventually I became part of the production crew (as a volunteer, not on the paid staff.) I was called the "production runner", which was a euphemism for "gofer." That's OK, I got to hang out back stage and got to rub elbows with the Women of Faith singers, the guest singing artists (Kathy Troccoli, Natalie Grant, etc) and the guest speakers. I even got to me Dr. Phil! I was eventually offered a job by Barry Walsh, the producer of the conference (Sheila Walsh' husband.) I had to turn it down since I already had a full-time job.

So much financial struggle. Debts. Gave me depression and extreme anxiety. It's really hard everyday. Everyday is like a battlefield. Anytime someone might attack us because of debt. I am earning money only to pay debts. it's really hard Fighting this battle and taking care of my 3 yr old son. I need to be mentally fine for my son. He needs a mother who is strong. I actually don't have my own strength anymore. The strength I have right now is coming from Jesus. It's his. Not mine anymore. But Jesus promised us that nothing is impossible and he will provide, protect and help us.

I picked up the album cd. And this song hurt my heart big time. I was working in a women's hostel and all the pain and ache their weightful stories could tell and yet were untold. And it came a point were a few tragedies had happened, and the words like a rose trampled on the ground reminds me of all the pain this world has thrown at others, and there You Are. Knowing every pain see every tear and give hope and comfort and console. My place was to witness and love. Even when it felt I had nothing else to give, because You Are. Amazing God, whose wounded can seek refuge in your wings. Thank you for allowing me to see. And know the Word of God is always interceding for us, even when we have no words. Thank you. Amen

I just want to testify what God has done to me way back in 2004…I was thinking of killing myself coz I didn’t felt loved…and also thinking of getting into prostitution to go to college…but I had a new neighbor who invited my aunt to their church…it was the 2nd time we attended their service and the worship song was “Above all” …while singing there was a persistent voice speaking in my heart saying, “raise your hands”…I was only 16 then and so self-conscious, thinking people might see me…but the voice was so persistent so I closed my eyes and lifted up my hands and sang the song…when I did, while singing the lyrics “like a rose, trampled on the ground, You took the fall and thought of me above all…” I saw the Lord Jesus already resurrected and out of the tomb with so many Rose petals trampled on the ground and He took one petal with its edges already drying and He placed in on His chest…when I saw that in the vision I broke out in tears that I can’t even stand and just got on my knees…I felt the great loving arms of the Presence of the Lord…I felt the love so pure that I never had from those around me…it was the beginning of the turning of my life from darkness to light…the Lord did not let me commit suicide but helped me lived my life for Him…He also made a way for me to go to college without getting into prostitution…I am about to celebrate my 34th birthday days from now, and I can say that I am so happy how the Lord picked me up like a rose…nobody valued me then but the Lord has shown me how precious and valuable I am before Him…I never had a boyfriend ever since I was born even now because He is so much more than enough for me…I pray that all people will also experience the pure love and grace of the Lord…
