Low field MRI for plant root phenotyping

Low field magnetic resonance imaging (LF-MRI) system at Texas A&M University. LF-MRI can provide imaging and analysis of nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) signals with minimal distortion from para and ferro-magnetic materials found in most agronomic soils. The system is capable of operating in greenhouse settings and can be deployed in a field environment and has applications in plant breeding, physiology and pathology across a diverse range of crop species.
