I remember this glitched also happened in ASE, granted traits weren't a thing back then, but uploading cryos would scramble the creature back to lvl 1 and delete saddles. Lost a lot of good creatures that way.
Gotta love WC. Short summary of whats going on with the traits: When an item gets uploaded in Ark its item data normally gets sent with it, however ASA has a bug that deletes byte arrays off item data when the server isnt part of a dedicated cluster. This results in all the data that makes that dino unique (levels, traits, colours, etc...) all getting lost. Then when released the dino becomes a brand new dino with a fresh set of traits and the like.
TL;DR - set up a proper cluster to avoid the bug, or dont cluster to keep making use of the unintended "feature" 😂

Crypods in general are unreliable for moving maps as they have weird metadata in them. All cryopod mods I know of see weird bug reports about stuff like this.
Unless you are on a cluster where all maps were started and always running at the same time, do NOT use crypods in the terminal. They will break instantly, killing anything in them, if taken from a newer map to an older one. You are on a cluster with no ID and already see some that broke just "transferring" back to the same map later. (Broken pods can still be used, but they take a full IRL day to refill in a powered cryofridge.)
This includes any Club Ark dinos you win! Get them to a new map first and get them out of a crypod before moving them anywhere. If you remake your Club Ark, you'll need to make a new fresh map afterwards to pop out any dinos on. That may mean having to raise baby dinos like Rhynios on these new test maps before moving them back to your main map.
Check the days count on each map to be sure. Usually older map to newer will work, but do NOT trust cryopods or modded cryopods in upload on ASA.

Yeah, the stat reset has been an issue for a long while now. I started farming traits, too 😂. I actually use the Dino Depot as a terminal instead. Mutable, Robust, Frail = Breeder traits.
Your dinos are resetting because your server has no cluster ID. This doesn't happen with Dino Depot, and this glitch is not reproducible, unless you're playing on a server that for some reason does not have a cluster ID.

A Diurnal creature is active during the day, like a Hawk or Falcon. As opposed to a Nocturnal creature, which is active during the night, like the Owl, or some species of bats
I really should look into all these traits
@@Jimbobsoss Some of them are crazy, there's one that reduces the weight of carried metal and such, which stacks with the Anky's reduction, I think the highest you could go was about 97% reduction

Yea, transferring dinos in OG cryos was always risky in ASE, at least on console. Sometimes they'd be fine, sometimes they wouldn't.
Oh Dear Me 😂 lol ya know that is gonna be exploited beyond the max, untill devs find out about it and put a quick stop to that cheeky business. But very nice accidental find :-)

did you try uploading the creature to the terminal, under the creature tab rather than item. that might work. i dont even have the game installed atm lol

so you do this with a whole squad of them (50 uploads i think) and keep doing it until you got the ones you want and put it on the good babies

Must just be a server thing. I've used them for map transfer on single player and it works as intended.

You did too many!! Gotta delete your local game save. It resets your map but also makes the terminal reroll Dino traits again.
I let the person knows who does the breeding on my server. They are very excited to try it!
i think this is more of the dino depot bug instead of Ark bug. or bit of both.

So this is a great exploit for unofficial servers. We play official. Can't be done as no transfers yet. Took the pod to scorched. No go!!
You were instantly dehydrated because you are overheated constantly because ... armor. Use those level 1 drakes for breeding mutations :) you can breed in your good stats later. Don't teach people to exploit Jim!
All the players rolled new characters for each map instead of carrying over, so Axeman and Jimbob, Evo and Syntac all have squat all endurance. It makes the videos a bit more "flavorful" if you will. With endurance being broken in ASA I am not sure they could get much out of it anyway in this series. They get knocked out instantly when hit by torpor. Their characters have very little health to survive falls or Basilisk spit or crab/megalo grabs. Any armor makes them all super-hot even in the green zone or super cold in the red zone.
Without doing a note run then personally killing a few high-level Reaper Queens to power level to mid-100s they will be hurting when taming Reapers, if they chose to do so. The new mechanisms also take your player level into account.
Second the words of caution: don't teach people to exploit Jim!
@@waveclaw I have 0 points in fortitude and have never had that debuff, Because i wear the hazmat suit. Haven't had any mushroom debuffs either since i started wearing it. I'm 106 and still haven't messed with taming a reaper although that is coming real soon unless i continue to get distracted building a train :)

SCS definitely reset dinos in the beginning. I haven't tested it in a long time, so it may have been fixed. Pelayori's (PCS) is the only one that I've seen not reset them. I don't like it as well as SCS or Dino Depot, though.
I think the issue originates from OG cryos because they used to do it sometimes on ASE.
