ive been watching so many vids about the bad with acting as a child. tbh its so worth it for me. im 11 and want to act more then anything! the worst thing is probaly being carful what you do in public, but like i said...i dont care, im the type of person who wants to be famuse more then anything. i dont understand why the hp acters hated it so much.

Well the depiction of the issue in this video isn't portrayed very tactfully I guess you could say.
The mention that he has been starring in "questionable roles ever since" is unneccessary and quite rude.
But this channel is just for clout on hot button issues of certain genres like a tabloid. What can you do?
I feel you and at the same time there's the possible and the impossible. He'd need to want help and with the problem persisting I imagine them doing what they could but also running into limits. Because a big stress factor is certainly "the public" and especially "paparazzi" and you can't turn these off no matter how hard you try. And I remember them mentioning some things that were done to try tackle that. It doesn't help to ask people to calm down either. Crowds and people who depend on "persons of public" remain a danger and hard to handle throughout any fandom. With so many people involved there's bound to be those who'll overstep limits, people's curiosity fuelling that. And the larger the crowd the more maniacs, egoist, over optimistic people and straight out desperate people you get. It's the sad downside. And especially with young people it's very difficult to maintain stability, especially on such a long run! Look at the percentage of really famous people handling it truly well throughout a very long career and how many of them are/were starting this early (AND growing/grew old). I dare say the statistics provably look devastating 😭. At the same time: try finding a "normal" person without some serious ups and downs over the years! 😂

It’s easy to say just help them, but it’s incredibly difficult being around somebody with a drinking problem. I say this both as somebody who has had one, and been around many that do as well. They don’t usually take kindly to the advice that needs to be given.

I agree, I mean Michael Gambom was still an amazing Dumbledore, but just the way Richard Harris portrayed Dumbledore, it really reminded me of the Dumbledore in the books: calm, wise, very kind. I feel like the producers made Michael Gambon a bit too aggressive and less like the calm dumbledore we know of the books.
My opinion is the second 2 Dumbledore is better
I think the first one fit the first 2 movies better because we, the audience, and the characters see him as this wise old man who could do no wrong and the first actor fits that perfectly. But as the story progresses we realize how shady and powerful Dumbledore really is and I think the second actor played that much better than the first one could’ve.

Well if they die in the book it's obviously different. But it is not that easy to kill someone off when they still play an important roll later on in the source material. You can do some rewriting and have a different character do their part or something, but it is not that easy and is likely to get you angry fans

I think out of any childhood stars growing up in the public eye, these guys turned out really well. While it's unfortunate that Daniel had a drinking problem but as long as he didnt go too far with binge drinking, there are a lot worse things child stars have done.

There was a couple of exceptions to the "all British cast" rule. Verne Troyer, who is American, played (but did not voice) Griphook, in the first film and Terence Baylor from New Zealand, who played the Bloody Baron Ghost, also from the first film. RIP to both actors

I agree, Robin Williams would’ve been really good. I think Robbie Coltrane was the best choice but Robin Williams was a great talent. Hagrid does sound like a part the Williams would play. He was actually very versatile actor and Hagrid would’ve actually been more similar to the things he has done than hasn’t. Like I said, I’m glad they went with Coltrane but I can’t help but be sad hearing about Robin Williams.
There actually was an American actor in Harry Potter, Verne Troyer played the first Griphook. I think he passed away before he could reprise the role.

I disagree. Out of all the book turned movies out there, this is the only series where the movies were far far superior to the books. The only reason the books became bearable was JK Rowling got a team of ghost writers to help her finish the books and they could actually write.

The simple fact that in movie 6, Cho Chang turns in the DA, which is completely wrong, ruins the whole relationship between Cho and Harry right then and there. I’ve read the books about four times. Although I love the movies, the books will always reign superior.

Many people might go against the rules that Warner Bros productions made but just imagine, if anyone got hurt or something happened to them and they had to be replaced. Like we obviously wouldn't want someone else to portray someone like Harry, Ron, Hermione. or Draco. It was amazing to see them for all 10, 11 years.
And something which I don't really like is that even though we all loved them and always wait to see them on t.v. , they weren't really happy and looked forward to the shooting everyday. I mean it kinda hurts that they really didn't like doing it as much as we loved them. I mean it is their life and wish but it kinda feels like we were forcing them to play their role.
But they would also never regret filming in the franchise :)
