Thanks very much Costantine. I'm just a novice on the bass so having the opportunity to see you play along with the original is really helpful. The tabs make it so much easier too. Please keep it going.
I'm mainly a guitarist that picked up a bass a few years ago. And I've got to say that this bass line really smokes! Thank you so much for the tabs! You should smile when you're jamming because it's uplifting and inspiring!
Oh Canada....... Great Artist out of the Great White North. This song came out the year I graduated from High School, Awesome memories with this One. Thanks For Covering it. Cheers.
Thank you so much for this! I run a "How to be in a band" class and am often having to show the bass player how to play (even though I'm not a bass player!) - and the accompanying chart is VERY NICE! Thank you so much for making this available.
I was just driving and for some reason thought of this song, hadn't heard it in a long time, love the opening lyrics too so I told the car to play it. Even though I've heard it many times, today the bass really stood out, damn it sounded so great. So I get home and search TH-cam for it and among the videos offered I saw yours highlighting the bass! Perfect, great timing - thanks Constantine for the video and your excellent playing, it was just what I wanted to hear.
Constantine- Thank You! I've been playing bass longer than you've been alive and had 99% of this line first listen through, BUT- I just couldn't get that G# to open E! I've liked & subscribed... you have one more fan. Kudos!
Felicitaciones Constantino!! una gran linea de Bajo con una gran técnica de tu parte. Muchas gracias por compartir estos hermosos temas que nos traen tantos recuerdos y poder ver y aprender como son la lineas de bajo realmente!! Saludos!!
To write good basslines, you have to think out of the box. One must get out of the rut of playing always four notes per bar. What makes the bassline here good is that it's intermittent.
Hi Constantine, Thank you so very much for these videos! They are huge help. Quick question, I need to wear headphone to practice and I'm having a hard time find some that last. What make and model do you use and how long is the sound clear... Thank you in advance...Ed
Thanks, really nice. Also the tab prints well, some of he composers run the ledger lines through the numbers and my eyes are not so bright as they once were and it makes it harder to read. I am working on learning to read music but tab is crutch until that happens. Knowing the name of the note you are playing does seem reasonable, and way to play better in the future but right now I am glad to be making something that sounds like music. Thanks.
Great video and tut but at the end it sounds off with the drum rolls. Is that just me or am I hearing it wrong. Everything before and in between is awesome but just at the very end it seems just a bit off
THIS is how you do a bass lesson. No bullshit, no talking. Just bass.
One of the best Bass lines in rock!
Love this guy. Good teacher, but doesn't waste time talking unnecessarily!
Paul Yeary talk is weakness. Playing like Mr Constantin is pure power.
I’m a drummer but I love to hear the bass player play and your very good at it. Thanks for posting.

I love the bass during the chorus, for me it's the best part of the song!
This is such a great bass line, thanks for share Constantine!

Love that you include tabs with your vids. What program do you use to create your tabs, I would like to start doing that as well. Thanks!!

Constantine, could you do a bass cover with tabs of " I'm So Into You " by the Atlanta Rhythm Section, Please.
Awesomeeee************
I have not been there at that time, so J bass might be the correct one but it sounds so much better with a P bass :)
YES!!!!
Love this song turn up the bass would you 🎉
Do you know the bass line for Run to You by En Rage? It is pretty funky also.
Does anyone have tabs for Shine it all around by Robert Plant??
what amp r u using?
Great video and tut but at the end it sounds off with the drum rolls. Is that just me or am I hearing it wrong. Everything before and in between is awesome but just at the very end it seems just a bit off
Mytic
A little more volume 👍
Looks like a Jazz neck, but the sound is more full, like out of a P neck.
the song on bass is more simple then that ok
uhh no he plays it exactly as recorded but maybe you could enlighten us with your awesome bass playing prowess? Yea.. didn't think so troll
