the paper books things around the 10min mark is special paper (can't remember the name), and it'll curl with the heat of your hand (but eventually lay back down) the blank pages at the back are meant to be there (you can write on a piece of paper and put the translucent paper over top to make it hazy and use it for effects)
It's called vellum, I think. really cool stuff!
