I was having a mental breakdown when my best friend sent me this and said “here, I hope this helps”. Not only did this video make me feel better, but it made me realise how much of a good friend I have. Thank you. Edit: I came back one month later and- I feel special. Edit #2: we are no longer friends. She turned extremely toxic and I had to leave her side.
My older brother was born early and so he was tiny enough to hold in someone’s hand. Doctors said he wouldn’t make it but now he is a happy loving brother to both me and my younger brother at age 12.
Did you know I was born 22 weeks early and the only thing wrong with me is pretty much a fixed clubfoot I'm surprised I am still alive I even had heart surgery a couple months ago
As a cat person, do you know how happy I felt when he said "cats are great, we don't deserve them?" Feels good man Update: my oldest cat passed away last week. He's been with me since I was 3, and we got him when he was around 4. He passed away at the ripe old age of 19, and was there with me through thick and thin. RIP. Foo Man Chu. He was truly a good kitty
7:57 when my grandpa passed away, his sister took a whole lot of his old shirts and made them into pillows and my grandma gave them out for for Christmas eve (along with a photo of him and his grandkids smiling). I miss him
My depression: I'm about to end this man's whole life This subreddit: Right back at ya, buckaroo Thank you, guys and girls for your support, I also wish you have a good day and a great life
Hey, Nikolo Kavacio, I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been suffering from depression! Please hang in there, things well get better sooner than you think, I promise!!! Sending a tsunami of positivity your way... BRACE FOR IMPACT! 💚🍀
The orange striped cats at 0:57 I found him near my house along with his two brothers but I couldn't keep them so I tried to find homes for them. his brother who looked a lot like him, I gave to my neighbor which they called Tigger because his tail was striped. my mom's friend whom she works out with will only have orange cats and their names have to end with O, so the small cat I rescued is name Dorito and the big cat (who decided to adopt him as you can see) is named Cheeto. The third one I gave to my sister's boss who is a veterinarian which she named Bob short for Bobcat. if you don't believe any of this well I got proof, but I always knew that picture would be famous some time. But seeing this made my whole week, thank you, Zack I hope you see this comment someday. PS, even though this is a touching story and I found a home for everyone it is a bit sad for me since I could keep them, and some days I wake up from dreaming about them and wonder why I'm not being woken up by the whiskers of Bobcat while Dirito sleeps at my feet.
Growing up I was always told to say "I love you" every time a family member left or hung up the phone because you never knew when you would see them again. I still do this today, even with friends, and it makes me feel so happy that I'll never miss a chance to say "I love you"
I just wanted to say thank you, for making this playlist. Always when im sad or tired, i watch two videos of your r/mademesmile compilations, and it always is the highlight of my day
3:20 Seeing this reminded me of just how far Bearded has come. Anyone who's been following him for a while knows he's had to deal with a lot of hardships in his life, but he's made it through. Seeing him happy makes me realize that no matter how bad things may seem now, they'll always get better.
So I just wanted to type a little wholesome story based on “Cats are great, we don’t deserve them”. So a few years back my family had a cat, before her every cat we owned would either run away or pass away within a few weeks of having them so we didn’t name this cats so as not to get attached and be heart broken again. This beautiful girl stayed with us for almost 15 years (I’m pretty sure she passed on already but left so we wouldn’t see her like that). Anyway one day, my mother who has a disability that involved having knee and hip surgery (metal rods were placed in her body), she had just come home from grocery shopping. As she’s getting out of the car a big dog was approaching her while growling, my mom is very afraid of big dogs and because of her disability she couldn’t run away or get back into the car in time. So from the porch our cat (we later named her momma cat cause she had so many litters of kittens) ran over and hissed at the dog. Obviously this dog was much bigger then her but she loved my mom and had to protect her. She scratched the dog and hissed until he eventually ran away, thus saving my mom. I really miss her, I hope my little kitty is doing better now 💖
Something similar happened to my friend. She was raised in Texas and there are obviously poisonous snakes there and one tried to attack her when she was pretty small and the cat of the neighborhood attacked the snake and saved her. She told me that years ago but it's still sticking with me to this day
3:43 I immediately went to listen to the Satin Doll and honestly I would love to listen to a curated playlist of various songs related to the colours she sees when listening to music.
Den Den same its a good song and i find it so wholesome that she does that for her friend if i ever have a friend who’s color blind im gonna try my hardest to explain to them using songs i may not get it but my friend will know what the color is like!
@@aetherbarela9732 Thankfully that's not how colorblindness works at all. I don't know if that poster made the story up or if their friends embellished the story when telling them, but there's no condition where you just can't see colors (except for straight up blindness). Colorblind people simply have trouble differentiating certain colors when those colors are in close proximity. So for example, for people who are "red-green" colorblind, if you have a a bunch of red dots surrounded by green dots, that person will only see green dots. "Colorblind" doesn't mean you're walking around seeing everything in black and white, it just means certain color pairings sometimes blend together for you. Even a "red-green" colorblind person can still see red on its own and green on its own. The world is just as colorful to them as anyone else.
@@gyroofthyme Let me just add that people who have 'total' colorblindness can't see colors at all. Apparently, they see everything in black and white. And no, they're not blind but they have poor eyesight. The condition is called achromatopsia.
Thank you for making every day a little bit better for me especially on days that i feel like having a mental breakdown. You guys at emkay are amazing. Keep doing what you are doing.
I’m glad that his name makes can make you smile, though his name does not apply to his behavior towards me, he seems to be a little angle to everyone else. Great cat, kinda.
4:56 I don't say this often but this really did make me happy, I'm going to be 21 soon, have a belly and lots of acne, and have never had a gf. So thank you, to the one who wrote it, the one who posted it on r/mademesmile , and to Emkay for putting it in the video. 😎❤️
Our neighbor's hunting hound, who also was our dogs' granpa, did adopt several baby hedgehogs, rabbits and ducklings... Even tried to bite his owner when he did come too close...
Depends on the type of hunting hound. Some are taught only to go after large game, some only small game, and most only actively hunt when given the direct command. Most hunting hounds are trained to flush and stay back from prey while chasing, to avoid a chance of injury from the firearm/bow. Though overall, any dog can be a good dog in my opinion.
He was Finnish Spitz, which aren't to used to flush anything out, but keep mooses/squirrels/weasels/birds occupied and looking at dog with it's barking, while hunter closes for the kill. They are also used for retvieving shot down ducks. One of my favourite breeds. Just check videos about them in here TH-cam!
11:33 This reminds me of my dog Sandie. My sister and I had found about two litters of kittens that had beeb abandoned near our apartment and brought them home with us (we did this often and our mom ended up nicknaming our place "the animal shelter") My dog had never wanted a litter of her own and would always act aggressive towards any males that we tried to get her to be with. But the second we brought these kittens in, she laid down and let them suckle until she started to produce milk for them. We couldn't keep any of them due to how much it costed to adopt just one, which was about two month's worth of groceries. She was very upset about it and always tried to take care of anything smaller than her, no matter how old or what species they were. She passed away at the end of last year at about 16 or 17 years old, but I always think about her when stories like this one manage to pop up. She was the sweetest dog anyone could've met, and I'm so happy I had the opportunity to grow up with her.
7:48 My oldest sister did something like this. In 2017, our dad passed away very suddenly. He was a farmer and wore snap-up or button up shirts every time he wasn't in the house. My sister took some of his shirts and made them into pillowcases and sprayed them with the cologne he would wear on Sundays. I love my pillow and that gift was one of the most thoughtful I and my three other siblings have ever recieved. I miss you, Dad.
I've been feeling quite stressed for a while now (I struggle with a lot of mental health issues) but I love watching the videos from this channel this was my 8th time watching this video and I still enjoy it as if it was the first time. These videos make me laugh and smile which help me a lot. I know my comment will most likely not be seen but I just wanted to say thank you!! For always making me feel better after my Panic Attacks or Anxiety Attacks or Mental Breakdowns!!
My grandpa died around the start of April, and ive still been missing him(he was in his 80's, almost 90). This video just brought up some nice memories of him I had forgotten about so I wanted to thank you for making this♡
I was feeling really down yesterday during my online class, so, a few of my classmates brought there cats out to make me happy. Fricking the best people I could ask for in life.
There is was a stray dog that kept going through my mom's garabge for food .One day,I gave some biscuits to that dog and now he comes here everyday on 11 O'clock so that I can give him our leftovers

Can confirm, getting art from kids is the best. My stepdaughter drew me a picture this week and wrote "stay positve" (she's only 8 but she's trying) at the top. She didn't know I was having a hard week but it instantly made it all better ❤️
My mom died 3 yrs ago was having trouble paying for her cremation because i just finished paying of my sister's cremation having low funds and trouble paying for my house the lady from the crematorium said don't worry about the payment and cremated my mom for free.
I have a little story of my own One day I was walking home from school and I saw this little girl (4 maybe 5)that was alone with a dog,I ask her what she was doing and she said she was lost she knew her Address but didn’t know how to get there I helped her get home and her mom was on the porch crying and when she saw her she ran up to her and hugged her very long. She ask me “did u help her home?” I said yes and she hugged me wound stop saying thank you and how can I repay u I kept saying she don’t need to and she Invited me in for a Drink I went in and we talked I got to a point where I told her I was working at a store in town and she said oh I love that place it belongs to my mom I said oh cool! And the next day at work I saw her come in and she said let me talk to the manager so I got her and as I said before the manger is her mom I count her what they where saying but after my boss said I was getting a rase! I was happy I knew why. And when I looked into the tip jar I saw $100! It just goes to show that u should always be kind
K so I wanted to share this McDonalds wholesome employee thing today: I was going through the Mickey D’s drive-thru and got an ice cream, and this guy did it perfectly, like to the T. When the older lady saw it to give it to me she looked at it, then looked at him, saying, “Wow! That’s really good!” And this mans face lights up like it was the highlight of his day, it was great.
It's a sad truth that too many people don't get even mild acknowledgement for being good at something. I try to find something to compliment about the people I see - whether it's the person who brought my meal, the person in front of me in line, or the kid I worked with in karate. They all did something good and need to be told.
This location I sometimes go to isn't the greatest, but one day, when I went, it was amazing. I asked for the manager, and she was new, could tell she was quite anxious. She had a troubled look on her face, then said, "What happened?", sincerely. I told her everything was great and they did a wonderful job, and it seemed like a lot of the anxiety vanished. Her face lit up like the sun, and she thanked me several times. She is now my girlfriend ❤
I love seeing those posts about people reuniting with childhood friends. I have a friend I haven't seen in maybe 8/9 years at this point. The last time I saw her was a while after my little sister was born. If you're reading this, Dakota, I miss you so freaking much 😭
when where i live went into lockdown (because of coronavirus), most of the people went to the local butcher because he had just brought a heck ton of meat and couldn’t sell it because the store was closing. Everyone chipped in and brought the meat from him, i’m pretty sure he sold it all.
I used to have a cat, his name was midnight, he had cancer, I was at school when he died but the last time I saw him before I went to school he would just keep following me around meowing and cuddling with me, it’s like he knew he was gonna die but wanted to spend his last moments with me , I miss him but I learned that you never know when someone you love will die, ❤️
I watch these after getting into arguements with my mom (Shes racist, and I support BLM and ACAB) and it gives me more confidence to confront her without balling my eyes out. Thank you.
I dont support either. Perhaps you should have open discussions without assuming someone who disagrees with specific movements hates or disapproves of other races? Have you ever considered people may disagree on perspectives of police shootings, on the honesty and integrity of actual groups and movements, on their politics and religious differences? Your mom may be a racist, I dont know. But just because she disagrees with you about BLM doesnt make her one. Could you actually be filled with more hate than you realize and letting that guilt or hate increase your anxiety? You can absolutely believe all African Americans should be treated equally, and still disapprove of the cultural movement of BLM because you disagree with your interpretation on police, controversial shootings, and who you feel is responsible. The question is can you have a discussion on your differences without hating or yelling at the person you are discussing with?
I've been having some problems in life recently; work, school, friends, relationships, family etc. Nothing serious but it's meant I've been panicking and freaking out a little more often than necessary and haven't been spending enough time with my brothers. Sitting down and watching this with one of them and listening to him laugh and giggle genuinely has been the highlight of my last couple of weeks. Thank you EmKay. don't worry about me I'll be okay
Guy: My daughter told me to make the smallest spoon I can so now I don’t know what to do with it Emmkay: give it to a rat or something Me : and that’s how Ratatouille was born
Teddy Roosevelt the guy who got shot and still made his speech like a badass even though he was bleeding out had a pet badger? A more fitting pet for this man i couldn't think of
this video made me so happy and warm inside hearing all these wonderful things i just wanna hug someone but i don't sometimes i don't have anyone to hug so i just hug my pillow i've had since i was 4 anyway, have a good day or night :)
Want more wholesomeness? Well I got a new cat around a year ago and he was really suck with an upper respiratory infection and he was just a baby. We didnt want my other cat Ninja to get sick too so we kept Finn (the new kitten) in my room and Ninja was allowed to roam around the house. We were originally going to only foster Finn but my family loved him so much and he was so sick that we kept him. I don't exactly remember the first time Finn met Ninja but I know that they loved eachother from the start. Now Ninja and Finn follow eachother everywhere and hate being apart. They play with eachother all the time and Ninja always lets Finn win and it's so cute. Finn is very healthy now and he's very social and has made Ninja more social too. Finn likes to fall on the floor in front of people so he can be pet. They constantly groom and clean eachother and sleep with eachother. I didn't know two cats could be this close despite a huge age and personality difference (Ninja is 3 and Finn is around 1) but here we are. I love them very much and I hope this story made your day a little bit better.
The last one makes me happy. My brother wants to start his own youtube channel. Basically, it's how to cook and use different cooking tools and stuff. No fame, just 'here's how to use a coffee grinder' or 'here's how to cook an egg' It'd be ideal for him since he enjoys cooking, and both of us speak in a way that means we can sound super smart and complicated, but we can dumb anything down. He could teach a 3 year old my math homework. He's doing his GCSE in cooking in 2021!

Our neighbor's hunting hound, who also was our dogs' granpa, did adopt several baby hedgehogs, rabbits and ducklings... Even tried to bite his owner when he did come too close...
Not a good hunting hound then
Depends on the type of hunting hound.

One day I was walking home from school and I saw this little girl (4 maybe 5)that was alone with a dog,I ask her what she was doing and she said she was lost she knew her Address but didn’t know how to get there I helped her get home and her mom was on the porch crying and when she saw her she ran up to her and hugged her very long.

K so I wanted to share this McDonalds wholesome employee thing today:
I was going through the Mickey D’s drive-thru and got an ice cream, and this guy did it perfectly, like to the T. When the older lady saw it to give it to me she looked at it, then looked at him, saying, “Wow! That’s really good!”
And this mans face lights up like it was the highlight of his day, it was great.
im going to compliment mcdonnalds employees more for the ice cream now
Aww!~ That's so nice
Is it fake? ice cream from McDonlad?
I love seeing those posts about people reuniting with childhood friends. I have a friend I haven't seen in maybe 8/9 years at this point. The last time I saw her was a while after my little sister was born.
If you're reading this, Dakota, I miss you so freaking much 😭

Thank you.
Hope you get through it ok
I support BLM but not ACAB because it seems like discrimination itself to me
(Not as bad as the loss of human life but discrimination nonetheless)

That's so cute, the video made my day but this made it even better!

My boy Bearded expense went from melting people’s ears off as the heavy to caring for his older autistic brother. *CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT*
The last one makes me happy. My brother wants to start his own youtube channel. Basically, it's how to cook and use different cooking tools and stuff. No fame, just 'here's how to use a coffee grinder' or 'here's how to cook an egg'
It'd be ideal for him since he enjoys cooking, and both of us speak in a way that means we can sound super smart and complicated, but we can dumb anything down. He could teach a 3 year old my math homework. He's doing his GCSE in cooking in 2021!
