These countries took loan for the sake of development. Any country is willing to give them loan as these are highly stable nations. In turn these countries give them some interest. So other countries just invest in these developed countries.
you only talked about external debt debt to gdp ration and fiscal deficit matters the larger the economy would be the larger there loans would be as they can pay their debt anytime due to high foreign reserves amd income from export.
It is very annoying if you don't remain consistent in all your figures. It would be best if you give your figures in billion dollars or trillion dolllars amd produce a table at the end to indicate the debt per centage iof gdp for each country.

Apart from external debt, there is internal debt as well. Please take total debt to compare. Lastly take Debt/GDP as a %age and not Debt/Population. Thanks.
