So maybe I need to clarify... a song specifically featuring, in lead singing roles - Avi, Tim, and Geoff. I've seen ALL of their collaborations but I would like to see all 3 basses in 1 song together just to hear the THREE of them blend.
Great performance - and thank you Geoff for doing the arrangement for Home Free and OakRidgeBoysVEVO for their version of Elvira!!! So much fun and talent by all of you!!!
2:08 - I was so surprised that I rewind a bit and look at Geoff in that moment cuz I had suspicions. Talk about misdirection. 😅😆🤣😂 Very nice performance, btw.
So, a studio recording actually does exist. The MP3 is available to download for their Patreon Patrons. It will probably never be publicly released though, because Geoff lent this arrangement to Home Free and there is no point in trying to compete with that version.
I think because PTX's more pop-oriented style is more popular than Voiceplay's. I also personally think that PTX's arrangements are more original and unique but that's just my opinion. These guys are definitely talented, though.
Really? Well for one they have their own original songs. But I think their covers are also very original, with how they work in elements of dubstep and electronic music. If you want a good showcase of their originality, you should check out their work on The Sing-Off. my personal favorite is their Since U Been Gone Forget You Master Mix.
Discovered this group not long ago but my god! Talented - of course, but I have to point out that every single one has a great personality! They all work well. And needless to say that Geoff has a ridiculous amount of charisma)) well actually so do they all! Love it!
My Dad and I both Sing bass in Church. When I sing with songs on the bus on the way to my work I do the base parts. My coworker Danielle Cornell says that this puts her to sleep. I am not joking. When I sing bass it actually does put her to sleep.
Because I watched them all...HAHAHA! Also, with every interaction in their social media, it somehow boosts their audience and "suggested videos" as well.
The insane range of both Geoff and Earl. Sad to see Earl not with the group anymore. Kinda makes me wonder if they could still do the same songs with the newer members
I love his singing too, it's a shame it was rarely put on display, I know he had a line in the Voiceplay vs Footnotes sing off and I think he sang lead in some of they're old aca top 10 videos
Am I the only one that noticed Geoff was a little too excited for this show lol look at his pants I mean I love his voice but I mean damn didn't know it was that big😂😍
(late xD) Hehe I don't think his "that excited" I think there's something in his pockets, from the comments I think it's called a pitch pipe. Though I also thought that the first time I watched this. But I mean... He's muscular and all so 😉😆😂 jk (Edited cause I got the pipe wrong xD)
@@Gram_fell I don't think it's a pitch pipe, the ones they use are round... sooooo.... I don't really know what to think besides that must have been really awkward for him XD
@@Gram_fell hhahaa 😂 like, this will be so awkward, but i know my pitch pipes, and there aren't any that are legit like.... Straight... And usually their pockets are empty during performances (speaking from experience, it sucks to dance with stuff in your pockets when singing)..... I guess Geoff.... I can't even finish the sentence...
Nandy nandyfre cause Home Free's version was arranged by Geoff Castellucci (the bass singer from Voiceplay-this band you just watched and listened to) so the way they sang kinda sound the same
Geoff is an awesome bass singer, and I had no idea that he had that falsetto too! He's awesome!!!
Geoff's falsetto gave me shivers😋😋!! I love how he sung the bass at 2:08 while the tenor faked it. Gold.
Tasha P
I know right?! I laughed cD
XD)
Tasha P his name is Earl not tenor
Natasha Pereira that wasn’t him look closely at it next time
@@dallinplays Is he...not a tenor...?
The way Geoff slides down to complete the last chord is sooooo nice
Geoff, I would love to see you, Avi, and Tim Foust do a song together... man, you would make the ladies swoon.
kmagmom Avi and Tim have done a song together, if you haven't seen it search for ring of fire by homefree
Silerthin Prath seen it, love it
kmagmom Nice :D
Tim and Geoff have also done one together, survivor

Geoff's bass is amazing. But his falsetto. That's a whole different ball game. Geoff is the best!!!!!
He really is amazing!!!
Cheryl Teng completely agree !! the way his vocal range can change is just incredible :D
My hearts on fire for VoicePlay lol man they are uber talented

can we have a studio verson, voiceplay?
0:45-0:51 yes earl yes!!
So, a studio recording actually does exist. The MP3 is available to download for their Patreon Patrons. It will probably never be publicly released though, because Geoff lent this arrangement to Home Free and there is no point in trying to compete with that version.
Thanks Geoff for making Home Free's cover of this song with the Oak Ridge boys possible :D
I cannot get over Geoff’s range.
Geoff Castellucci:Going from Bass to Tenor is the most impressive move ever. Talk about Bass-Baritone power right there.👏👏👏
he says he's a baritone with a bass range.. but some of the high notes he can hit is just amazing
I like how he went bass to tenor, and earl, the tenor, went tenor to bass
You guys would make The Oak Ridge Boys so proud love it and two thumbs way up for Geoff for getting the low tones just right.
I too get a funny feeling up and down my spine...thanks Geoff.
So why aren't these guys just as popular as pentatonix? They deserve it! Someone explain that to me.
PREACH!!!!!! Right there with you
I'm personally more of a fan of ptx but I do agree
I think because PTX's more pop-oriented style is more popular than Voiceplay's. I also personally think that PTX's arrangements are more original and unique but that's just my opinion. These guys are definitely talented, though.
+Josh Barela theres nothing original and unique in PTX in my opinion.

That C2 at the beginning... simply beautiful
u sure its a C2?
Eli 1:24 tripped on tony xD
Onele Inibu
I didn't notice that! I was too distracted staring at Geoff! xD
Omg he did🤣
OMG I didn't know Geoff could sing like that
3:41 My favorite part 😁
Jeremy Neil my jaw hit the floor!
It’s always funny to me how Layne just kinda hangs out on the other side of the stage by himself
WOW they have such wide ranges!
when he points and theres silence till the end where there's an awkward "eeeh!"
that was a whistle
listen closely at 2:17
he was going to sing back and then relized no one else sang
Nobody is gonna comment on Earl? He did an Amazon job!
Dayum Geoff! Those high notes... 😍😍
My god how many octaves did geoff slide down at the end 😳
At 2:58 Tony's just like bish do you really have ti do that?? 😂
I like this version a lot!
ahnbra same
Jesus's Jellybeans, I love Geoff. He's so calm about it xD Treats it like it's nothing!
I love that you guys show that you do other ranges😃
My goodness!! Geoff and his falsetto!!
this was so fantastic, I was not expecting this! all I have to say is wow what a great job I love what they did with this song

Geoffs bass ❤❤❤❤
The perfect acapella group: bass- Geoff Castellucci
Beatboxer- Layne Stein
Baritone- Chris Rupp
Lead tenor- Rob Lundquist
High Tenor- Mitch Grassi
Lucky. Fishing I would switch Chris for J None or Scott, J has a better range but Scott can do more runs 🤷♀️
Better baritone: Adam Chance
they had so much fun with this song.
great job guys. i came here thinking this wouldn't be good, but i'm impressed!!
WOO! Loved the twists. Always a fun time. I reacted to this on my channel and it'll go live soon.
These fellas are so amazing and wonderful! And that's why I subscribed to your channel Brandon Turner.🤘👏👏❤❤❤❤❤
Earl duuude you sing that Tenor son!! But when you faked bass was pure talent
I was waiting for anything, when Geoff pushed poor Earl back, but not for such hights!:D
DAYUM! GREAT PERFORMANCE!!
Tony's voice! DAMN!
Tori Mayo why i see u in almost every video of voiceplay lol
Because I watched them all...HAHAHA! Also, with every interaction in their social media, it somehow boosts their audience and "suggested videos" as well.
Tony, in general DAMN
The insane range of both Geoff and Earl. Sad to see Earl not with the group anymore. Kinda makes me wonder if they could still do the same songs with the newer members
Aww why is Layne all by himself 😅😩
Chaotiki A drummer :v
I wish they had a studio version of this
I have to say that I'm ashamed that I believed Earl has sung the low note the first time i watched it :'D
He did sing the low note, not in this one but in another recording I think
I am obsessed with Tony's singing, can someone please dirrect me towards other videos of him singing?
I love his singing too, it's a shame it was rarely put on display, I know he had a line in the Voiceplay vs Footnotes sing off and I think he sang lead in some of they're old aca top 10 videos
3:40-3:50 yes Geoff!!!!
Geoff's falsetto is GOLD
Geoff, DAMN! That ending. My ovaries just popped.
Layne just chilling there minding his own business like😂😂😂😂😂😂
They were very generous with the sacred oom papa mow mows
The thing is Earl sang some of that low part, just not the end! 😂
cantam muito venha pro Brasil vamos recebr v6 de braços abertos SALVADOR
That was pretty good!!!!!That blonde really has a range to his voice.
2:03 i am dying :D :D :D :D
How you guys weren't mobbed by all those women I'll never understand!! You guys are FANTASTIC!!
Absolutely magnificent!
+No Name now that's all I can see damnit

2:09 what did I hear0.0

冰 唐Tommo
Geoff and Earl pretending it to be Earl singing the note while Geoff was turned around to sing it.
I see~~
Totally awesome!
😍 that bass
only way i'm reaching Geoff's high note is by tightening my shorts...
nope, not even then :'(
Sorry Earl…
Geoff won that sing off
These guys can sing annything just waiting for them to yodel hahaha
I hope that's not what i think it is in Geoff's pants

Well... I can reach every of the Bass notes, so I think i´m going to organize this at the school festival at the end of my school career, haha ^^
Geoff hit all of those in his chest voice... can you seriously do the same??
Johnny Golly well. Did you do it?
USSR They aren't TOO hard to hit in chest voice.
I do miss Tony...
Me too
That's a bitta range.
I'm sorry, but what happens in Geoff's pants?

2:07 hahaha
They have the better rendition of Elvira because it was very fun (okay they all have different styles). Comparing Homefree and Pentatonix...
Geoff actually helped write Home Free's arrangement!
Tyler The Piano Man oh cool! How did you know?
Home Free mentioned him at the end of their Elvira video!
2:08 - Geoff be like: *what the fuck was that*
And yes I know that was Geoff but it was hella funny they faked it.
Soa foda demais as notas mais graves do Geoff
All comments with Geoff hahah

wow omg that tenor is the lowest i've ever heard they are all exceptional vocalists
which they could come to the uk
That was actually the bass singing and the tenor just mouthed the words lol
+Elliott T Earl only mouthed the last 2 notes though. It was very clear when his voice changed for Geoff's :)

Ok then❣👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💜😘
Since when does Geoff have a haircut?
This is an older video.. it's grown out quite alot since then
