    Am a Bob Marley big fan and lover. The first time I laid hands on this interview was in 1983 in Senegal under very strange circumstances I still have that same old tape as it was called I consider Bob a Prophet. May His Gentle Soul Rest in perfect peace.

      Bob Marley became a Christian near his death according to one of his backup singers. Haile selassie. Ras Tafari was a man who did not want others to worship him. Consider why Bob Marley chose to believe in him as Christ. The one the Europeans showed Africans didn't make sense when they, the Europeans, failed to live it out. Therefore the Africans followed another kind, but the Truth is the Truth and those who God reveals Himself to will follow Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit leadership. The Truth is always present despite what man may say it do. You have to discover Him like #JudyMowatt Judy Mowatt

    Gotta have a love Bob Marley.
    However made me laugh by saying do you want God to be White?
    My belief is God is neither Black or White .
    Or he's ever colour , or no colour at all.
    But Bob himself is mixed race .
    Anyway it's all good, as long as we all love God, we will be blessed.
    God is good all the time.
    Amen

    So I’ve watched a couple dozen interviews of Bob now and I’ve come to the conclusion that Bob Marley the person and Bob Marley the singer were two entirely different people. The singer Bob was a spirit who tapped into higher teachings and changed the world. The person Bob was an egotistical, selfish person who believed a tiny little dictator from Ethiopia was god and that it was “great” that Ethiopians were suffering from famine for some reason. I still love his music, it is just interesting hearing these interviews and quite honestly being shocked at some of what he says and also his poor ability to communicate during interviews, and no I’m not talking about his accent. He literally rambles on and on about nothing, avoids the questions and just sounds stoned out of his mind.

    • @loveudon6972
      @loveudon6972 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      I am in agreement with you there Dave. I think the vulnerable 'man' Bob was definitely targeted by elders in the organised Rastafari religious movement add the massive amount of weed and you get some garbled oft repeated propaganda spiel but his music is poetry and he is in touch with all mankind when he's outside himself playing. R.I.P Bob

    • @benmacdui9328
      @benmacdui9328 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +40

      You got all that from listening to a couple of dozen interviews?😂
      As with any religious person Bob had blind faith in God and would defend it no matter what facts about Selassie were thrown at him. That aside , Bob was anything but selfish or egotistical , you should do some research before spouting nonsense like that.

    • @DaveG425
      @DaveG425 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

      Yes I did. I can read people very easily. Its a gift I have. Before the internet age all we had was Bob’s music easily available. These interviews give you an entirely new perspective on Bob as a person, not on a microphone. In his recordings he was channeling a higher power but he was not that person in his regular life. He was hugely egotistical, wanted to conquer women, beat everybody at soccer etc. These are things that are not in his music so yes, two entirely different people. He served his purpose as a messenger and helped the world in many ways through his music. But as his own son Damian says, careful who you nail pon cross. Meaning, don’t think of someone as a savior and worship them. They are only human.

    With all honesty I really don't know why this guy was so heavily promoted so much Bob was never righteous man his lifestyle speaks for itself. So many people in general thinks somehow that he was saying something really especial and that he he cared about other people's poverty. I cannot help myself thinking that somehow Bob was chosen for the role that he played.

    • @DaveG425
      @DaveG425 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It doesn't matter if he wasn’t righteous the fact is his words had power and he ended a lot of suffering in his home of Jamaica and all over the world through his music. Thats all that mattered. And no, Bob wasn’t chosen for a role he was the real deal and manifested his superstardom. If anything, he was chosen by God to lead the people out of suffering.

      If you honestly believe a deceased Ethiopian man from the 20th century is Jesus Christ incarnate, you are most definitely completely out of your mind. Not only is rastafariansim completely unrelated to JudeoChristian religion, this very false Jesus you have is anticlimactic blasphemy, if i may so say.
