We all know comic connect is run by Mr pink and his associate who loves money and who says he can find anyone to be replaced by a worker from McDonalds
@@HaneyA Not a fan at all. Spent like 7-8 thousand on a show because the grand prize for most claims was supposed to be an ASM 1. Turned out to be a golden record reprint which was not disclosed. Whatnot reviewed and said yeah, they didn't disclose it, but I was offered only a $1000 partial refund, which to be was unacceptable. There's more than a $1000 difference between a real ASM 1 and a reprint. Went to the seller, he was unwilling to refund or have me return the books. Won't ever be using them again
Ok, but what are the top 5 sites for raws? LOL I started an account on My Comic Shop because you had mentioned them. I missed on a raw GSX1......was SUCH a deal >< ughhh
Sorry you missed out 🙁 you can find some great deals though for sure. Just keep watching am I'm sure you'll find more 😃 I will be coming out with a video on my top places I like to buy raw comics books, so keep an eye out for it! Thanks for watching and for the comment!
First time watching your channel, good info, but with that background, "oooOooOoooOOOOOOOOOOOOOooOoooOOOO" I could only make 12-1/2 minutes. (It clashes with my already ringing ears 😂😂😢)
@momoonocollects NP, YW. I have been considering a channel, and I would hope people would leave similar feedback if I'm not aware. Again good info and also pace on what I watched, best of luck on the channel!
I usually don't shop with places, that charge me to be a customer. Raphael is the best. Don't worry once the government realizes their not getting their money, from Instagram, they'll go after them, like they did ebay. The government will eventually make sure, they get to tax every transaction we make.
If you've spent over 250k for around 100 comic books maybe this isn't the best advice to be giving the community. Now, granted it is getting harder and harder to find good deals with all of the pricing technology out there, I still think that networking, hunting for raws and building trading communities communitues is a viable way to get below fmv prices for books. And this comes from someone who has very little time to hunt, outside of my family and work obligations. With that said, many collectors want to buy slabs..and if that's your thing, I see nothing wrong with this top 5 list. Sorry, that was long winded 😂
No, that wasn't long winded, I appreciate the insight! And I definitely agree that networking and hunting for raws are great ways to get books under FMV. It's just hard like you said with all the pricing resources out there I definitely plan on doing a top 5 places I buy raw books, just thought I'd start off with slabs since they seem to be so popular. Thanks again for sharing and watching the video! Do you mind me asking the biggest score you've gotten networking/hunting?
Great info man. Great info because I’ve heard about these sites but I would’ve never explored any of those sites without your solid info.
You're welcome, thanks for watching and the support, glad the info helped!
Thank you for sharing, keep doing what you do!!!
Great video as always, keep up the great work

Don't know what you mean, but I like the platform 😂 Thanks for watching and for the comment!
??? What???
@@MetalBum yeah, I didn't get it either 🤣
I know comicconnect and Metropolis are the same NY based company that have been in the game for a long time. Mr. Pink? I'm not sure.
@@comicpadre8603 Yeah, the Mr. Pink thing is what I don't get 😆
Great stuff. Thanks for sharing
Super helpful, totally worth watching
Thank you for sharing this info. Very useful 👊🏼
Glad to hear, thanks for watching!
@@momoonocollects would you mind sharing your thoughts regarding Shortboxed? Would love your perspective on that platform if you’re willing to share.
@@momoonocollects also wanted to ask you your thoughts about WhatNot 👊🏼
@@HaneyA Sure! I think it's a great idea and super convenient, in my experience though it hasn't been a great platform to find great deals

I think I'll pick up a Superman #1 one to read and one to save 😉
Exactly! I was thinking about picking up one for each of my kids too. Christmas isn't that far away 😉
you better have a 9.0 AF 15 if you dropped 200k. Hopefully it wasnt all during covid :)

Thanks for the feedback! My apologies, the fan on my laptop is pretty loud, I'll make sure to adjust for that in future videos, thanks!

Thanks, appreciate it! And beat of luck with your channel
Fyi I corrected for the laptop noise in my most recent video, so thanks again 🙏

I could have paid off my house and have no monthly payments for that amount!😂
That's a good place to be in, no mortgage is a nice feeling 👍
