Awesome video as usual. Are theses manuever listings published yet somewhere. I went to the F3N site and they still have the old manuever listings. Wanted to especially get a copy of the explanation and diagrams for the two new manuevers.
It's not easy to find, as the FAI put all their sporting codes on one page, but you can find the document in here , normally named "Volume F3 Helicopter". www.fai.org/page/ciam-code The document contains F3C and F3N, so you'll find the sets list in the 2nd half. Here's a direct link to the current document. www.fai.org/sites/default/files/sc4_vol_f3_helicopter_24_1.pdf
wow wow wee wow! What an excellent set of manoeuvres well demonstrated to practice to - thank you indeed! Well......................... when the weather warms up!
Thank you, the drawing and Description can be diffucelt sometimes. It makes it much easier for new pilots and also advance pilot to see how it is done! well done. :)
This is a great source of inspirations for future maneuvers! Thank you Richard for doing these meneuvers so beautifully and the explaining graphics! Fantastic! I will come back many times with growing skills!!
For 2024 they dropped: Backward knife edge pirouette, Tic toc (Metronome), Spike, Duus Iglo, TicToc Loop Rolling Globe reversal, Double O One Twins. They've added: Tumbling Pirouetting Circuit, Rolling Double O One.
Hi Richard, thank you very much for this video. It is a great reference for F3N Judges and pilots. But can you take a look at B2? The description says inside loop first.
@@rchelicopter Its not my native language :) I see now. The inside loop part is the first quarter. After that the direction is free. So your video is correct. (I got questions about it and thought I understood :)
@@thomasfreidl5548 Thanks! The simpler figures are just compound manoeuvres, where it's straight line, then loop, followed by roll, etc. There is a lot of video for intermediates already available, so not sure there's a real need for me to cover it as well.
Your heli is like on rails 😀 Looks amazingly. Thank you for the illustrations, looks like I tried to make the maneuvers excessively tight, and I had problems with standing 8 - now it's a little bit clearer. If you are for additional videos - maybe I can suggest a topic for you?) This standing 8 confusing me - I lose the speed and the upper circle turns out to be very small and ugly, it's more like a snowman than 8.
On entry to the upper loop, you can see I keep the heli flat and climb only using collective. It doesn't look quite right, but this will make the loop bigger. If you push up into it straight away, it will stall and be smaller.
@@rchelicopterNow I see! I tried to complete the upper loop like a regular one and it stalled indeed. I'll try using collective instead, thank you for the hint!
This was a little more difficult than last time for some reason. The Rolling Double O One and Pirouetting Tumbling Circuit will be a decent challenge for you 😀
Would you prefer to see them like this, or would it make sense next time to split them into 35 videos with a more in-depth discussion of start/end points and various ways of doing them?
I think you did it perfectly - one video with time marks or chapters. I'm afraid 35 videos would be a lot of hassle for you. Still, if you want to elaborate on some extra nuances, you can make separate additional videos on maneuvers you'd like to clarify. This video is great as a reference implementation. Thank you.
Richard, I will watch anything you produce, more detailed videos would be beneficial to all in the form of building blocks. Does not have to be the 35 but ones that enable one to progress to the more difficult / advanced manovers later
Our F3C sporting class in England is different to yours. If you give me a link the guide to the US version I could probably give it a go, but didn't Auggie or Montee say they would do a video?

Great reference video Rich. Thanks very much for this, great to refer to on those wet practice days.
Brilliant reference in one video
GREAT WORK!!!
Hi Richard, thank you very much for this video. It is a great reference for F3N Judges and pilots. But can you take a look at B2? The description says inside loop first.
Starts with a quarter inside loop, which is the pullup. I think that's what I did?
@@rchelicopter Its not my native language :) I see now. The inside loop part is the first quarter. After that the direction is free. So your video is correct. (I got questions about it and thought I understood :)
Hi top video. Can you do beginner tutorials on how different figures are flown/controlled?

especially the simpler figures

If it's still not enough, pull a little nose down a little before pushing up into the top loop.

@@lev_on_heli Thanks for the feedback Lev. Potentially another general F3N video might make sense then.
@@rchelicopter Yes, something like general F3N tips and tricks 👍

Thanks ! Very helpfull … i am beginner and i use mode 1. Do you think mode 2 is better for 3 d ?
Well now I see why this video took you so long to edit. :D Jokes aside, great video with a lot of things I'll be trying.
Yeah, it's got some nice tricky moves in there now.
Can you do a video for the F3C sportsman class?
