**Marty AND Nick, BOTH were by far the absolute BEST of the BEST of any and ALL the different musicians Mustaine has had through the years - and that's a whole LOT of great musicians but there are none better than this lineup right here 💯🙏♥️🇺🇲❤️⚖️🎸☝️
Marty and Dave's solos on this song are INCREDIBLE. The sort of Pan-Arabic scales and patterns that Marty uses are mind boggling great. The song in general is well written musically and lyrically. Hangar 18 is a thrash classic.
Why wasn't this an easter egg song in the zombies map Classified, It would have totally fit especially when you go to pack-a-punch in the area 51 area of the map.

wow, just wow... this is how I remember listening to it... it was raw intense sharp lightning thunder... we've been cheated on this new crap, we lost so much
Everything sounds so much better on the original master. Remastered albums always have the dynamic range squashed out of them with excessive compression.
Jesus, I'm a newer fan that bought all the remixes back in the day... I did a few comparisons to the originals and didn't appreciate them, opting to choose to listen to the remasters. But yeah, I was wrong, a victim of the loudness war. There is much more room to breathe here, you have to appreciate the dynamic range. The original is a different album. The remasters are crispy and loud, but's that now feels like eating a McDonald's meal vs. appreciating the nuance of the original.
im a newer megadeth "fan" (not a superfan just a casual listener) and i honestly prefer the remastered drums over this, the snare just feels a bit too weak for this

You, sir, are a saint for posting this album in its entirety
And most importantly, in its original form!
Ahhh. So much better. The remaster destroyed this album for me.
It didn't destroy it for me. It's still listenable, it's just a worse mix.
The snare on the remix of this track is very cool though.
I only hate the drums and vocals, but the guitars and bass sounds more clear in the remaster.
Take no prisoners is so bad on that one lmao.
@@giggles332 the remaster of five magics is the worst than any music of this remaster
This is really a masterpiece that shows what is the value of Friedman to this band
Genius brings in another genius.
Decade after decade, what Marty did in this album is just amazing, pure Magic
@@douglasdbs7139 More like, fiveMagics

Wow.
I can actually hear the drums now.
Remaster = Subtract Menza

Ahhh... that intro such a healing.
Like night and day compared to the remastered.
A true gem from the best thrash-metal band. This song is Top Notch.

I just realized on the album cover they're in a hangar. Possibly the 18th?
Brett Iverson
Yes
no. the 19th?
I think the hangar is called peace. That's why it's called Rust In Peace, they are rusting in a hangar called peace
@@kdehavenmusic but the song rust in peace says "the warheads will all rust in peace"
@@Reckless_Metal yea they're telling to blow up the hangar
This version has alot more attack to it
The intro is a masterpiece
32 years ago...fuck my life...what the heck? How has it been this long -_-
I wish the guitar solo never ended.
Thanks , they're are so many different posts with off tunings n shit that the songs true essences get lost .
1990 ? They should did know too much for 30 years ago
I can play this, such good writting for such a simple sound.
It takes a true artist and musical knowledge to do this :-D
The drums sound so much better on this version

everything does
Somehow the remasters are godawful to my ear-especially countdown- it takes all the bite out the drum production
modern metal is fatiguing to my ear after a minute- it sounds good for a second but it's just all so much

Thanks for the proper version, Jerry!
i donk like that shit remastered , i prefer this versión x 1000000
De acuerdo
Idk why this song give me sniper 3 afrika at hangar mission vibes... Miss that old time
I think to be honest, i like the original sound of this album, the remastered version is too rough sounding, I don't really like it.
Classic
good
Love how natural the drums sound on this.
This song changes a lot compared to the remastered one, I use these songs to play the guitar over the track
incredible
Believe foretold but who's suspect
hey I bought the same original CD in 1990!!!
Music Is The Face Of God - Mahavishnu John McLaughlin
is it just me or do the vocal progression sound like a song from candlemass? idk who was first though and i bet its a coincidence
lars is upset!!
Sounds brighter and you can hear the cymbals. Why do other versions online have almost zero cymbals and more mid?
im a newer megadeth "fan" (not a superfan just a casual listener) and i honestly prefer the remastered drums over this, the snare just feels a bit too weak for this
You are insane.
Sounds like a jrock. 🤣
