I always wanted to know about Nosql and finally i do. Thank you very much! I would like to add that using a RDBMS you have to think deeply first wich might cost time in the beginning but also might save money in the end. Doing it well with an RDBMS you have a performant, robust, consistent single source of your valuable data. If you really should have a DB bottleneck working with good people and todays hardware you can use a distributed RDBMS. Unless your data is less valuable I have a hard time to accept the "easier for the developer" argument.
