- This video will be in two parts. The first part is how to assemble electricity, and part two is how to set it up on Mach3.
The components that need to be prepared are:
1. One Mach3 USB interface board.
2. Three TB 6600 stepper motor Drivers.
3. Three stepper motors.
4. Six limit switches.
5. One micro switch.
6. One emergency or stop button.
7. Power supply DC 12 volts 2 amperes.
And 8 is a 48 volt 20 ampere DC power supply.
We start from connecting the mach3 board to the stepper motor driver.
Connect the XP and XD terminals of the Mach3 board to the negative PUL and negative DIR terminals of the X-axis motor driver.
Connect the YP and YD terminals of the Mach 3 board to the negative PUL and Negative DIR terminals of the Y-axis motor driver.
Connect terminals ZP and ZD of Mach3 to the negative PUL and negative DIR terminals of the Z-axis motor driver.
Then to 3 X-axis motors. Y-axis motors. And Z-axis motors are connected to the 4 phase terminals of the motor driver.
There are 3 types of stepper motors on the market according to the 4 cable colors available, as shown in the following table. So friends, just adjust to the stepper motor that you have bought.
Then we move on to the Mach Three board input section.
That is, terminals IN3, IN4 AND IN5 are connected to the X, Y, and Z axis limit switches.
Where each axis there are 2 limit switches minimum and maximum which are connected in parallel.
The IN2 input is connected to a Z-axis sensor. This sensor can be a micro switch, or a proximity sensor, or an ohmic sensor.
Input IN1 is connected to the emergency or stop button.
The ground of all these inputs is connected to a single Mach three input ground point.
The positive and negative inputs are connected to a 12 volt 2 ampere power supply.
Finally, connect the X, Y, and Z axis motor drivers to a 48 volt 20 ampere power supply.

Jd klo limit sw error atsu rusak langsung interlock ke mesin. Sebelum nabrak beneran.
Klo pake pin No, ketika over travel, bisa ga respon limit sw nya, jd gagal sistemnya

I'm sorry, I have no experience with stb4100 boards. But in terms of performance, the type of board I use makes no difference. And so far no problems like you encountered.

kalau untuk mesin cnc plasma kan pakai handle torch nah untuk pin yang aktifin torch itu di sambung ke pin brpa mas di controller mach 3?

Mas bgm cara menentukan nomor pin Step pin dan Dir pin pada Motor out puts jika menggunakan mach3 RNR merah. Dan jg bgm menentukan nomor Port dan nomor Pin Number pada Out put signals

Mas...pemilihan board Control Mach3 type usb dan pemilihan driver motor steper (TB6600) apakah ada hubungan nya dgn besar dan kecil nya Torsi motor stepper yg akan di gunakan.
Besarnya torsi motor ditentukan oleh spec motor itu sendiri. Sedangkan driver motor hanya penyedia arus dan pengontrol. Selama driver mampu menyediakan arus yg cukup untuk motor maka kerja motor akan optimal. Board control tidak ada hubungannya dng besarnya torsi motor

That's right, all negative lines are connected to one point, as long as they are connected to ground to avoid interference

Om kalo motor steper sumbu y dan z motor steper berputar tapi tidak kuat ditahan pake tangan bisa berhenti sedang sumbu x sangat kuat. Mengatasi sumbu zdan y bagaimana terimakasih
motor steper yg digerakkan oleh lead screw dan rack gear dng reduksi yg besar akan lebih kuat dibandingkan dng penggerak timing belt
yes need 6 limit sw safe machine if build, but were connect XYZ 3 pcs home SW.and E stop important and probe need ewerytime if change bit. Z heigh zeroing. but have only pins 10,11,12,13,15 can use.

Mas... sya bru nyoba plasma... Setingan z axis balik keatas waktu torch mnyentuh plat itu sensorny dmn y mas?
Ketika ujung torch menyentuh plat, maka ada sebuah mekanisme yg arah geraknya kebalikan dng torch, lalu menyentuh sensor. Sulit dimengerti ya?
Memang tidak sesederhana itu penjelasannya. Butuh video animasi. Lain kali nanti saya akan membuat video khusus untuk menjelaskan hal tsb. Semoga bisa segera terwujud. Hehe

Permisi mau nanya,code IN 1 2 3 4/p10 11 12 15,kalo dipakek in proximity kenapa sering mati/konslet ya?untuk THC padahal lancar,tapi kalo dipakein proximity malah konslet,awal bisa jalan tapi entar 2jam mati lagi,itu apanya ya?
Output Proximity sensor berupa open kolektor. bukan seperti switch on/off. Sehingga harus ada sumber tegangan yg dipasang supaya bisa menghidupkan LED optocoupler yg ada pada input-inputnya. Ingat bhw port input adalah merupakan optocoupler. !!.

PSU nya 48volt 20A apa ga kebesaran ini..?
Gak lah yaw... Motor stepper tidak mengkonsumsi arus secara kontinyu tapi pulsa (PWM)
Untuk plasma cuting kadang monitor pc hidup mati karena intervensi HF dari plasma ada solusi ga om mengenai hal ini...

limit SW need do same than E-stop, if run out of rails need all stop, this is wrong connection wiring. not need limit 3 input wiring, need only one inpit, all SW need stop maxhine emergency stop if run out of rails this is normal limit SW system, AND need important 3 pin HOME SW because not can run machine if not have BEFORE drive ALL axis first to home. and important need probe pin too ewerytime when change bit need zero height bit.and last important need E-stop SW thats mean need minimum 6 pin input. but card have only max 5 pin input.
